"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

So I've read a lot of Double Your Dating and SoSuave.com and been using a lot of the methods listed there. So far it's been working great with some girls--girls that aren't really the type I'm looking for.

However, there's this one--she's smart, has lots in common with me and has only really had one serious relationship before (a daddy's girl and a goodie). I've noticed my usual lines *might* be making her angry.

For example, I mentioned that she seems interesting, but I bet I can find a lot of girls like her elsewhere. She then retailiated by stating that I always try to put her down, where I then said 'You're reading into it too much."

My question is: Does this whole ****y-funny thing work on all girls? Or just the hot ones that get constant attention? How would I go about getting a smart, unexperienced girl who rarely gets asked out? Is she getting offended because I'm not saying things the right 'way'? Or maybe the nice guy apporoach would work?

Help guys ;)

Maybe you're using it to much. Remember, ****y-funny should only be used as a spice not the main thing. Something here and there. Also keep it light and fun. In my experience, too much funny is always better than to much ****y, cause you'll come across arrogant, while to much funny is only gonna make her think that you're just in a goofy mood.

You do not know what C&F is. Saying you can find a lot of girls like her is putting her down. The purpose is to make her laugh while being C0cky.

Some girls will escalate ****y and Funny with you -- on them, use it more. They'll be so attracted to you after a while they'll want to tear your clothes off. I personally love these girls because they're fun to flirt with.

But if you've got a shy girl, you won't need a lot of ****y and Funny lines. Play with them only lightly. You can be very subtle -- just smile and when they ask, say "nothing." Then smile again. Simple. Or say "interesting" and then smile. Again, reply with "oh, nothing" when she asks.

There's way more to solid game than ****y and Funny. I explicitly use it only occasionally (that's not to say that I don't tease), but I'll escalate the C&F only when I meet a girl who knows how to play. Other strategies work better on the shyer girls.

EDIT: Put the word 'only' in the proper place in sentences.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Ah, my line wasn't nessesarily ****y or funny, it was just something she reacted too, so it took me back a bit, I'm used to girls fighting back with some one-liner like 'You nothin' special either' where I can then tease them back.

I think your C&F isn't very funny.

If you get into an insult-war, it's just going to be a whole bunch of negative emotions... and that's not really that great. It's better than being an AFC, but not by much.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I'll look more into it. But you're saying a properly executed C&F works great even on shy girls?

Too much C&F is a bad thing, i generally do not use much C&F at all on shy girls.

Each girl is different............... A true PUA (Pick Up Artist) understands this and tweaks his approach depending on the girl.

Yeah. Most guys still have no idea what a *real* neghit is.

It sounds like you're just insulting her. lol. The name of this game isn't "insult girl until she has no confidence and then will be attached to you".

It's, "Show girl that she needs to be extra special, go the extra mile, and WANT to try harder to be with you, WHILE making the girl FEEL like she IS something special".

If you're just insulting, you're not making her feel special. It's a complicated thing to do, and in all honesty I still am not very good at doing this.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

its ****y and FUNNY. not ****y and INSULTING.

the whole concept of c/f is to make her see you as confident, self assured, fun to be around and maybe a little arrogant.

a neg hit is where you (usually) playfully tease her or make a remark that chips at her ego. its commonly used for girls who are hot, know theyre hot, and have a larger than life ego. those type of girls might respond well to a guy who playfully points out her flaws.

a step further to the extreme, some girls actually like the arrogant guy who more or less treats her like ****. some of those broads are headbaskets though. a lot of 'em were molested, raped or abused. or even ignored by their daddy. they have some twisted psychological **** going on, where they are attracted to the rough man who rarely gives her attention.

but on the other hand, the nice girl may very well be insulted by your "playful" prods at their ego. their self esteem probably isnt sky high like the supermodel babes. with the shy/sweet girl, you dont need to come to her with a shield of arrogance and be conceited. youll come across as rude and hurtful.

if you want to be a pick up artist, you need to learn how to quickly read people within minutes of meeting them. figure out which approach would work best.

or, if you want to be a "DJ" or simply a great guy, figure out what YOU want. find out what type of girl would fit into YOUR lifestyle. then be selective and let girls apply themselves against your requirements.

there is some positive truth to "just be yourself." someone else came up with this concept, i dont remember who, but they said soomething to the extent of, rather than "just be yourself", grow into a better version of yourself.

a lot of successful guys dont want to play the pick up game. they dont want to constantly mold themselves to varying situations, just to get into a girls panties. regardless of whether they want an exclusive relationship or lots of girlfriends, they live their life as they see fit, and let girls qualify themselves. and if a girl doesnt match up...? no biggie. the next candidate is just around the corner, at the mall, grocery store, book store, park, school, etc.

its all up to you.

myself... i got tired of the over-the-top c&f and trying to fit into every girls different mold of what an attractive man is. i keep it subtle at first and let my bodylanguage and looks speak for themselves. i feel better sticking to the charming side and letting us warm up to eachother, rather than battling one another with put downs. im looking for a loyal, trustworthy, sweet, ltr type girl but in the mean time ive had my share of flings - just the same as any PUA who really plays the game. like i said, all about you. be confident and happy and congruent within yourself, and youll get ***** one way or the other.

with your girl... what do you want out of it? a quick lay or a relationship? sounds like the smooth, strong and charming man is the one who'll win her over. but before you think about how to get there, figure out what YOU want to be. if you make pretend to be one guy or another, eventually the charade will be over and she'll wonder about the real you. unless you are a charade yourself...
