In the old forums, reported posts went to our emails and were almost always lost in spam. Now, we get a notification on here and can go right to the post.

Not only that, but although a post would be reported, clicking the link only brought you to the thread and not the reported post. It was kind of futile trying to hunt down the offending post, and that's why many were not acted upon.
