Alcohol to have around?

So my roommates and I will all be turning 21 within the next several weeks. What kind of booze would you guys recommend keeping around the apartment? Obviously we'll keep some beer around...some Smirnoff. I like Everclear.

So, for the ladies that are sure to be over? So far what I've come up with is Malibu Rum and Bacardi Grand Melon...both I've had good experiences with. Being underage I've usually just taken whatever I can get, so I'm unsure of what to buy now. Any advice is appreciated.

For the ladies that are over you should get something more girly like mike's hard lemonade or kahlua + milk or a coffee type liquor. I find girls will mostly drink anything as long as its not beer.

I always keep some wine coolers, vodka, rum, soda, juice and grenadine. I can make a ton of drinks with those ingredients.

Same with the wine coolers. Chicks WILL notice if you have a gay selection of booze, and laugh behind your back while they are drinking it.

For dates, get a bottle of red wine, For ho's, any flavored vodka will be more than suitable, and some OJ.

Booze is NOT the reason girls will come over or stay, so dont overthink it. Give the little hookers something tasty and alcoholic and they will be fine.

I say always keep a few bottles of wine and I like top shelf Bourbon, Gin and Vodka. Also get some Patron, women love that $hit and it is easy to drink neat. I am pretty versatile in what I drink and even dated some women that liked cheap a$$ wine, but I do not drink it! Cheap means Nighttrain, MD2020, Boones Farm and other crap.

You could always ask the lady what she wants and have done so in the past and it worked out fine.

A cheap vodka like smirnoff red, some OJ, and some sugar.

No need for fancy drinks, just get a cheap popular alcohol and keep some fruit juice handy.

Fill the glass with ice, put a couple shots of vodka in, fill the rest with fruit juice, pour a tbsp of sugar in, and stir.

If you don't drink girl drinks then don't buy them. It makes you come off a little try-hardish, and might get you made fun of or get you accused of being a rapist! Shop for yourself and your room mates. If people don't like what you got then they can bring their own. The only preparation I would maybe make it have some sort of juice around so that mix drinks could be made available. I've never seen a girl complain about screw drivers. They also get to dictate how much alcohol they are drinking as well, so it doesn't make you look like a creep trying to get them drunk.

All jokes aside. I like whisky. JD is great. Barcadi is good. Jose Cuervo can get you naughty. If you can afford it get some Crown Royal. It makes you look classy. Sky vodka is good. But any vodka will do. I usually get the $10 smirnoff bottle. Jagermiester is always a good night as well.

This really depends on your standard of living and what you are trying to achieve. If you want to drink with class and associate with people who do the same you need fine bourbons, scotch, irish whiskey, cognac you know, what I have at my dry bar. If you want to get college girls drunk buy a few flavored vodkas but not too much and flavored light beer. You can pass that off without looking gay and get yours in the end. For partiers who don't care and don't give a **** what any one else thinks because they want to get their drink on, buy standard. Regular beer, a handle of jack and sky, 750 mil patrone, beam black label, smirnoff, any of the three olives brand, and some bottom shelf stuff. You hit most but not all marks with that shot gun approach.

For girls buy Absolut Cherry Vodka and Red Bull. mix them and it tastes like a Cherry 7up. It's called a Cherry Bomb. Usually make shots with it. Or Absolut Orange and Red Bull (Called a Tic Tac) Tastes like an orange Tic Tac. Buy some Zinfandel for wine for them too and plastic shot glasses for the Cherry Bombs and Tic Tacs. (Make sure the Vodka is in the freezer to make it cold and the red bull in the fridge. They'll like the taste of either if they've never tried it before.


If any girls like beer try Blue Moon and get a few oranges from the grocery store and cut them in slices pour the beer in cups and put a slice of orange on the side of the glass.


You can try (if you like Coronas) Corona and Bacardi Limon (lemon Bacardi) put the Bacardi Limon in the freezer till it's real cold and pour a little in the Corona. Put your thumb on the bottle after you've poured some in and turn the bottle upside down SLOWLY and back to 'mix' it so it doesn't explode. (The bacardi tastes like the lime or lemon in a corona.) And after like 3 of them you get pretty banged up!

For hard liquor for you and some guys get Crown Royal and Ginger Ale. (Called a Crown and Ginger) they are more expensive than a rum and coke in bars and taste MUCH better IMO. Or Captain Morgan Spiced Rum and Coke is good too.
