"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Let's face it; you will find a few nutcases in that program.

haha agreed. but if you think back say 10 years even, women didn't speak like that even in pornos.

which is another thing that's changed. you look at a porno star like belladonna and now its actually considered hot for a woman to swear like a drunken sailor, slap the man, spit in his face, etc..

its kind of freaky to see women who are as rude, crude, lewd and tattoo'd as a russian sailor.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

She's combative as hell. Getting in her face would just make you the next target and in the end you really can't do anything if she has no sense of shame or whatever to cause her to back down when a real man speaks. Really, what could you say that's going to make her stop that isn't basically telling her she's right? Sure you could calm her down and capitulate to her, but put her in her place when she's acting psycho? She doesn't seem the listenin' type... and i bet someone (some dude) would jump up to her rescue.

This is where a good backhand would be handy. If people knew there was a good possibility of getting a clunk upside the head they would watch their mouths a little more closely. It worked in the (g)olden days.

pornos, big brother, all that other crap is money driven entertainment.

they screen those people to be on big brother based on how entertaining they think they'll be. I really don't think you can adequately judge society based on the lower spectrum of the bell curve. At least I hope not.

As far as wacked out porn goes, (get it? wacked out?) porn on demand has not been around for too long, dvd's etc, and just like big brother, once you get used to one thing, you tend to need it amped up a notch to get your nut off, so to speak.

It will be interesting what will happen when the demand for debauchary (crazy b!thces screaming crazy sh!t on big brother, etc) starts to bump up against illegal activites.

There's already plenty of popular websites that are filled with videos of people getting heads chopped off, dogs brained with bricks, dudes killing themselves, old ladies getting hit by cars and flipped across intersections.

Its only a matter of time before that crap gets passe and people start to demand more.

Its not like humans have never gathered and cheered as people were killed for fun.

i gotta admit, if i saw some chic mouthing off like that to her boyfriend and then he smacked her, i'd probably bust out laughing.

I want to say something... but it speaks for itself.

So I will refrain!

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

I wonder what the replies would have been if I would have been the one who started this thread??

Since it was Joe who started it I can say "Yes, I agree".

Is this where the social shaming of "not hitting women" comes in? I never understood this rule because it just limits male power once again in the favor of the woman.

Pfft.

I'd laugh if a 6'4 250 lb dude backhanded a 5'4 140 lb dude just as much if he was mouthing off over and over and wouldn't shut up. I know I watch my mouth around very large men because I would be hurt. But women don't have to because "real men don't hit women." Except I wouldn't get smacked. I would get punched in the face. I have just as little chance against someone that big that any woman would. If you don't want smacked, you keep your damn mouth within socially acceptable ranges.

It's like that little toadie kid in the christmas story. Sure has a big fvcking mouth when he has protection. His protection is the bully. Woman's protection is the social norm.

Beating is one thing, a good smack is another. Male or female.

Yeah it's that double standard rule that women are allowed to use their natural advantages of sexuality against men and men are suppose to give respect and reverence to them, while our natural advantages are shamed and are hands are tied behind our back. You got to just love people like iqqi's sense of fairness .

Funny story.

A girl I knew got kicked out of her rehab because some guy kept banging on her door. A soon as she opened it she cursed him out and smacked him. When I saw her after the event she had two black eyes.

I said to her "you punched first, didn't you?"

She said "of course"

I called her a stupid ass.

Don't pull on a lion's beard, eh?

Did anyone else feel sorry for Sarah Silverman in The Way Of The Gun when she got punched out? Seemed like she deserved it. I would never hit a woman mind you. No matter what. On the other hand I wouldn't exactly call the guy a coward if he shut her up either.

Edit: Ahh here it is!: http://youtube.com/watch?v=66xK8fw1qc0

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
