"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

exactly what the title says. I met a girl in late january that now i regret not hooking up with. i was going through some personal stuff at the time and picking up girls wasn't even on my mind. we got drunk at a club together and i should have made out with her, but i was so preoccupied with my family situation at the time that I really wasn't feeling it. i remember holding her close in my arms, face to face. I easily could have kissed her (and I think she expected it) but instead i said i had to go and walked away. in fact, i left early that night.

fast forward to now, that girl is a part of my social circle. we are not BFFs, but we do see each other quite often when our groups go out. neither of us brought up what happened that night in the club when we met. this wouldn't even have been an issue until now where I'm starting to catch feelings for her, since I'm available now, and getting to know her through this time has made her more attractive to me.

so, even though i "friendzoned" her when we first met by not making the move, do i still have a chance? or is it usually once a girl sees you as "just a friend", regardless of who friendzoned who, it's pretty much done?

oh, i've always kept things flirty with her, been a good friend (ie study partner), but never her emotional tampon. the only sign that I'm in her friendzone now is she told me her friend is moving to our city, and "she's really cool, a good girl, and you should meet her". I think she's trying to set me up, which would show that she no longer has any interest in me?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

haha, i'm just wondering if the fz is permanent even if you're the one that does it to her. I know she sees me as a friend now, but I also know she wanted more when we first met. is this a dead end bc I wasn't interested at the time, or are there ways to rekindle her interest in me?
