"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Seven years out of the game, seven years with the same woman. Funny how things just got so stale. I'm experiencing things that I haven't experienced since I was single.

I just got back from a date, and I'd forgotten what it's like to cream one's pants simply from the touch of a woman. I feel like a goddam teenager again, walking around with my d1ck glued in place. This woman's got a smoking body, and knows how to push the right buttons. But it's all good - I did the same to her and made her walk funny :D

I've got approach anxiety again! Why? I don't want approach anxiety. I got over that back in 2001. Now I shake like an un-medicated old person when I approach. And it's not just from approaching, it's from asking for the digits, and calling them! And here I thought I was cured.

On the plus side, it feels good to be dating again. Not only that, I'm dating women who are WAY more physically attractive than my ex.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Glad to see you're back in the game. As you already know from having handled this years ago, the only way to get over the jitters is to keep going at it and keep approaching.

just remember that the STD rate is a lot higher now than it was when you were once single. Wrap up. Keep your mind clear and your divk clean.

Des.. didnt you reply in my divorce thread the other day?

Good to see that you're going out and experiencing that again. I wish I could be doing the same... stuck in Iraq though.

I think I'll start playing the dating game once I get back to Japan. Though, there is this one girl out here that's into me...

Desdi, I went through the same thing you are going through last year. Although I wasn't married, I did go through the same thing where I was just nervous all over again. When I was 19-21, I had no fear of approach, but I guess we can charge it to the fact that we're out of our comfort zone.

After being "caged" lions for a few years.. being freed and thrown back into the wild can be a little daunting at first.

It's always exciting when the "chase" happens all over again.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
