"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

So usually when I go to the club I don't approach any girls, don't even bother to dance. Just drink with some buddies and do nothing (and hate myself afterwards).

But this time I was determined to go out there and actually DO something for once lol. These girls I knew from high school who I am sorta friends with kept commenting on how good I looked and what not (I went with a different dressing style than I usually do). Anyways I danced with them on the stage and what not it was cool. What's funny is that guys I kind of knew were congratulating me saying "it took guts to go up there" "nice job" etc. even tho it didn't really seem like a big deal to me.

Decided to try my luck on the dance floor, i would just walk up to a girl and dance with her. To my surprise, almost all of them were quite receptive. One of the girls seemed to be pretty into it but a bunch of people were crashing through the crowed into her group of friends so they kind of motioned the girl to follow them somewhere else on the dance floor. Possibly trying to 'save her' or they were trying to move to a more open space. A couple girls I danced for like a few seconds...then moved away so i respected that and went for someone else.

This other guy I knew was complimenting me how I was "snipin b*tches" haha. I was surprised at how much admiration one can get for simply just goin out there tryin to pick up/dance with girls. Anyways i had a fun night...realized that you know what...hey i'm not a bad lookin guy I just gotta go out there and give it a shot. I didn't get any action or anything, but I had a really good time and I think I can build on the night I had. I'm glad I was at least a step above the guys who stand around and watch!

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Keep it up. One thing I've learned is that dance parties/clubs are a lot funner when you focus on having fun rather than picking up chicks. Dance like a stripper, rub your butt against the crotch of chicks, and most people will admire both your courage (and if you can do both well, your dance skills).

Right on man... Its funny because when in a crowded bar or club I always make a couple guy friends along the way.. simply on the fact that we both in the same place.

Just couple nights ago on saturday witnessed a group of black guys got shot down by this Really hot chick. She was flashing her wedding ring around like it was her "get outta jail free" card.. I was relatively close so I dogged her on it.. something to the fact that the ring really came out of a ceral box (actually it was a nice fvckin rock).. but all the guys got a laugh out of it.. But ended up making a few friends out of it, and later when I was hooking up with this girl. number closing and all it was funny cause one of the dudes came out of nowhere and starting patting me on the back and started telling the girl I was talking with all sorts of crap.. like she didnt know what a cool guy she was talking with right then.. making it seem like I had some amazing secret. Was pretty cool of him.
This happens often. You got guys on your side going through the same motions..

on the flip side you always got an ******* who isnt having fun and is jealous.. so since he CANT be a lover he has to be a fighter.. haha.. keep an eye on these fvcks they are there too.

I hate the bitter @$$wipes. There are actually guys out there who will enter a set for no other purpose then to blow you out.

On the other hand, if you see one guy hitting on a girl in a group of 2 or 3, go in and open the set. You're both working towards similar goals...

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
