She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

I think its much more complicated then that. Both men and women change over the long coarse of time so yeah maybe that advice is good for up to 2-3 years of relationship but if you are looking for longer then that, I don't think that is the case.
