"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

After reading Style's book I became inspired to learn routines. It seems that all the big names recommend using canned material to start with. So I collected a few routines and sat myself down to memorize them but I just can't picture myself using them in the field. I've read tons of gurus saying that it will work but I can't make myself believe that they will work for me. I would feel gay trying to tell some chick about "the cube."

I don't think I would be able to use canned material with any enthusiasm or congruence. Should I force myself? Is the reason I'm not good with girls because talking about these kind of things feels queer to me?

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

No you shouldn't do it if you don't want to. I spent alot of time using that **** to no success... try to discover the DJ sides in you and develop them. Best thing you can do is to go networking so you meet more people and learn how to talk to women and people in general. This along with improving who you are will get you far.

It's not what you say, it's as long as you play.
