"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I met this HB who is off the hook!
She has a 7 year old son and she's 27.
What are the - and + of dating a single mom?
I know its a red flag to date one, but i just wanna sleep with her and not go into an LTR with her

suggestions?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Advantages: NONE
Disadvantages: lots of mental baggage, her child, some dude already got this slut pregnant, bad for your reputation.

I just don't understand why some guys just like taking the hard route. Whether it be going after girls with boyfriends, or single moms. This ain't like if we were living thousands of years ago where the population was limited! there are plenty of good women everywhere but some just want to get into difficult situations I guess.

If you like her and she likes you, what's the big deal? The main problem is usually her finding someone to care for the child when you go out, but not many women (even without children) are available all the time anyway. And if you like children, it's a great way to provide some male role model for the little guy. Just be aware that her son is probably her first priority and any interaction/role you have with him is with her approval. Personally, I think it's fun to go out with an "instant" family (a 7 year old should be easy to get along with), and you don't have any of the real parental responsibility.

This oft-repeated statement is the dumbest cliche in the entire dating/women category.

There are lots of sluts, there are lots of fatties, and there are lots of people with personality defects.

Worthwhile, attractive women are few and far between.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Some of my friends have had some experience with single moms. It's never really been my thing. I like little kids, so I feel pretty bad when i press up on their moms, call it a weakness.

Anyway single moms are usually pretty busy from what I can tell. My friends who have been with them all pretty much have the same response response that they know that you being a young attractive male are in no way ready to commit to a LTR with a single mother. So the basis of the relationship is physical and for the most part shallow. Some sex here and there, then they lose contact, partly because the lady has other concerns at the time.

There are however single moms who are looking for fathers and will lead you down a long windy road of emotional involvement in attempts to get men to commit. I've only heard about women like these through various parties, and don't have any second hand experience that I've witnessed before like I have the first scenerio. I'm also fairly certian there's a spectrume of girls ranging between these two types of single parent so you'll have to keep your eyes open and your mind focused to get the full picture of what's happening around you.
