I've tried it in November, 2006, for one month only under Silver Membership, and wrote a thread about the whole experience for a month. At first, nobody took me on, or took me seriously, and it looked really bleak. But then, due to the 'Blog' I started gaining some credibility with the way I was expressing myself, and due to persistant and unrelenting prospecting, I eventually landed with four prospects at the end of the day who would have been prepared to meet me should I have pursued it.

Dont listen to the nay-sayers - they probably never picked up someone from that site so they dont know what they are talking about. As easy as they portray it, ask them if they picked up someone from a site like that. Something is legit, if the people are real, and you can meet them with a reasonable effort, and in my case, that is what happened.

Not really. My own issues, set-up, parental constraints, moral and spiritual considerations, etc.... have nothing to do with adultfriendfinder. If I do not pursue an opportunity or prospect then the system works - that's all it's supposed to do. So, just because I chickened out, can not reflect that it doesn't work - where it's purpose is to meet people from the site.

Three hard prospects (had their phone number, email), and one 'swinger's' prospect that felt sorry for me because my expiry date of Adultfriendfinder was on the same date as her birthday. The point is, if I wanted to, back in November, I could have, mainly thanks to adultfriendfinder.

I think most of the profiles are legit, but there are fake ones, too. The site is rumored to be owned by the Russian mafia, or something shady. Men who have a membership about to expire will often get solicitations from fake users, so that they have incentive to renew their membership.

Does myspace ban explicit 'lets have sex' pages? I have seen some, but the other pages they link to often don't work.

It's legit. I've had a 3some with 2 chicks off there that were 26 and 27, and are best friends. One was about an 8. Both were married. And I don't even have a paying membership. I think the paying part is a rip off because I can still send some emails even though I don't pay. So, I would say don't pay.
