"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

It took me ages to get over my last relationship, which I was in for like 5 years. I eventually started dating again and found this one girl that really stood above the rest....and we hit it off amazing. The basic signs were there: eye contact, chemistry, and plus we were intoduced through a coworker.

As we started talking, she was always complaining about having nothing to do. It was almost too easy to ask her out. Finaly got the nerve and we made it happen...easily the best date I've even been on. I sorta decided to take it slow because I knew the girl to be shy and I suspected she had trust issues, and frankly I was rusty after the ex.

We never really got to hugging even until we randomly bumped into each other in a club a few weeks after our second date. Again, I never really made much of a move on the second one either...just took her out for dinner and showed her a good time. I figured for sure I would make the move on the next one.

Turns out exams came along and through a monkeywrench on my whole game. She got legitmiately busy and I was starting to feel like the guy who was asking too much. So my instincts kicked in and I backed off, tried to forget about her, play it cool, and look elsewhere.

Bear in mind the whole time I have never told her much about how I felt.

Over the next 6 months we would run into each other in the oddest places and she would hear about me and what I was up to through friends we didn't even know we had in common. Bottom line is, she would talk about me a lot...one dude even referred to her as one of my "ex's", which leads me to believe that she gave that impression-- girls are not likely to mislead about who was an ex, right? If anything...I thought she woulda made me look more like a buddy....

Anyhow, after all that time, we ended up having a natural convo and I asked her to hang again...she ended up FORGETTING about that date. She had asked a friend to hang out instead. She apologized and asked to make it up the week after...I got this vibe that she wasn't really game so I kinda....never showed up. I guess my goal here was to get my power back...worst case, I would just move on.

We never talked about that missed "date" again.....and everytime I would run into her, she would start showing me more and more attention. But I've been playing it cool and indifferent the whole time...

We're at the point now where we've sort of hinted at hanging out....but the spectre of her getting busy with school/work still looms above.

But every girl has stuff to do...I feel I'm just being paranoid and am just afraid of rejection.

And I KNOW I'm playing games here and I want to get this done with.

My question is at this stage, when the intial spark is long past but the situation is still interesting enough to pursue: do my playing-it-cool actions hurt or help me? The key is I never became a buddy.

Yeah there are other chicks in the picture but this one is at the top of my list.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

You took action, and experienced a positive result.

Make a move! Too early is better than too late.

Good.

She forgot. Imagine that. Was it even a "date" in her mind? Why would you ask a girl to "hang out" and not expect her to flake. If you had actually invited her to go somewhere and do something with you your chances of her showing up would have been much greater.

If she's really that busy, how is it going to be possible for you to date her?

I feel I'm just being paranoid and am just afraid of rejection.

Sounds like it. From her viewpoint, the guy who she wants to date isn't going to be afraid of her. She may be afraid of him, but not the other way around.

I don't know whats in her head.

Make a plan, call her up, invite her, hang up the phone, go on date. Don't choke up when its time to get physical. When the time is right, go for it!

No more hanging out! You know what happens when you hang out? You sit around watching TV discussing things you might possibly be doing if you weren't too lazy to get off the fvcking couch.

Re: Re: acting like u don't care to get her back?

Thanks for the reply.

I really did drop the ball on the "hang out" date. I sort of said I would meet her after work and then we would cruise around town and check out the local beach scene-- she is new to town and only knows campus life. I never specified that I would pick her up on my ride and if she should meet me outside work, etc...and if we were eating...argh...ball dropped...

It's been ages since we were at the "going out" stage. I sort of gave up on the whole thing for a good 6 months. A new school semester has started and she seems to as approachable as ever. Totally unexpected.

But I've been playing it distant just to feel her out. Lots of folks talk about playing it mysterious during the early stages....just wondering how that fares after you've known her for a bit. Please bear in mind that I have her number (she gave it to ME after the first date) and these days I never call her...I saw her maybe 5-6 times during the entire summer break.

Yet because we really hit it off....we sorta have that familiarity going at the same time...it's kinda tense...but mostly confusing.
