Once a human is able to obtain all the needs in one section, he or she is able to progress up the pyramid. I cannot gain confidence because I am still trying to find sex and attraction from women.

Yeah, anything that gives a release, including using an escort/prostitute or sex-toy would classify for "sex". If there is a ONS without contact afterwards, that probably would go there too.

Sexual intimacy could also mean affectionate hugging, making-out, outercourse, affectionate kiss on cheek, or anything that expresses a sense of a life or belonging. I don't think it even means necessarily having a physical act of sex with a woman, since you can have sex as just a physical release, while being intimate with a girl doesn't mean you have to have sex with her to feel warmth or love from her.

But the triangle doesn't make any much sense. You can have poor and broke and umemployed couples. That's one level that's satisfied and not the lower one.

But you can get arrested for doing that. These are public computers and libraries have children and older people who would complain and get offended by stuff like that. No bum is going to drive in a car with a laptop computer with newspapers over their windows.

Maslow's hierarchy of needs is an objective depiction of a subjective ideology. That pyramid may have some truth, but has zero authority. I'm at all levels of that pyramid and have observed others to be at all levels as well. As a college kid I may not have financial stability yet, but am certainly not stuck at the safety level.

Lesson for DJ's: sex is at the bottom of the pyramid and should not be in the same mental space as higher pursuits. In other words, don't worship the Pu$$y.

I wouldn't look at it as a ladder that you have to climb. A lot of people are moral and creative without having achieved some of the lower needs, for instance.

It's an interesting heirarchy however. I know many men in the manosphere deny that sex or sexual intimacy are needs at all. I happen to think that it is, but I've been flamed by several of the posters here for saying so.

There are people like monks who can live without sex, but that is extreme self discipline and self denial. They fast for similar reasons.
