About altering your university transcripts when applying online to a corporation

hey guys hows it going

been a long time lol

Ok heres the scoop:

Applying for a large corporation in Canada, and they state: "submit unofficial transcripts"

OK so now I am thinking of pasting my transcripts from the registrar online portal to word and then doing a little editing

First I need to ask my registrar if firms can just pickup my transcripts without my permission or not.

I am wondering if they dont see my official transcripts then i might be able to get away with altering my marks? :cheer:

Don't matter. Transcripts are only for proof that you graduated. Saves them the hassle of a background check.

Unless you somehow managed to graduate with a 0.2 GPA, don't worry about it.

You are generally correct but there are federal government jobs, for instance, such as the CIA, which have GPA requirements. In any regard, fudging a transcript is a practice in futility.

They can request an official copy after you get hired and start working. I used to work in HR, and the full background check would not come in sometimes until a month or so after an employee had begun work. Any time that the results of the background check did not match what the application said, it resulted in an instant firing.
