Abercrombie question

I don't have one around here, got some good deals on ebay but i hear their shirts can run a bit smaller than usual, is that true? Looking to get some muscle fit polos. I am a size medium in Ralph Lauren style polos, is that about equal to a medium or large by A&F standards? Thanks
