just get average-looking girls in those dating apps. So if you're in the top 10%, you can use dating apps instead of wanking but you have to take into account the time wasted talking to average girls.

As for the average men, what a waste of time. I think the market will implode soon enough. Men will realize it's a scam, just like Ashley Madison (who got caught creating fake profiles to hide the 99% male to female ratio).

Wheat Waffles makes a good point in the video below. On swipe apps, a male 7 has equal value to a female 3. Male outnumbering is so bad on the apps. A male 7 is better off using some other way to arrange dates where he might get closer to an SMV equivalent.

But, respectfully, they said the same thing about the post-COVID landscape. Women were projected to be lonely/horny/craving LTR companionship, etc. But we saw little difference.

honestly, this hit me very hard. On average, you will typically pull a full point to two points under your own SMV on a swipe app. So, even if you are an "8" man, you will be generally matching with HB 6 and 7s. Swipe apps are fine for staying out of dry spells, but you will always pull younger and hotter (and closer to your own SMV) if you are cold-approaching. It is a far superior way to meet women.

This is because unless these things are directly impacting women you won't see any real difference. Even if a nuke goes off over in Ukraine, you won't suddenly see American women pairing off left and right. Now if one goes off in New York City, that might be a different story.

Inflation/recession on the other hand won't make a bit of difference. Hot women will always financially be taken care of - they aren't spending the money; it is being spent on them.

The problem is chadlites even struggle on dating apps. Women are highly more selective and picky, I think they tend to try and match more with men they would not normally approach in real life or shoot their shot at a top 1% because they can easily hide behind their phone. That's not to say that average men still can't get laid using apps, but we all know who gets the most mileage from them. I still use apps, but I don't check them daily or put all my eggs into it.. average men are better off cold approaching in my opinion. Also, let's not even begin to talk about the quality of women that use these apps.. we all know they're trash or one step above it.
