My comment: obviously the person that wrote this is thoroughly dishonest. She has no shame and will just say whatever lies suit her manipulative purposes. This confirms to me what we already know - that some women will put on an act to try to look like the kind of person that you want them to be. However, there are ways of finding out if the person that you're in a relationship with is really honest or just pretending to be.

I think most women lie about their sexual history anyway. These shameless gold diggers have probably got a ton of miles on the clock and they know that it decreases their value to the men they're targeting. I'd trust them as much as I'd trust a second-hand car dealer.

Yeah, men and women both do this. In fact, the men's dating advice industry is basically known for teaching men to put on an act and try to look like the kind of person women want them to be.

Can't say the women's side is any different.

In fact, I think you can just assume that if there's something weird on the women's side, it's probably safe to say there's something equivalent to it on the men's side.

They say that when a woman tells you her lay count, add 2 to it and you'll get the real number. And when a man tells you his lay count, subtract 2 from it and you'll get the real number.

Obviously, I'm sure it's far more nuanced than that but men and women lie and exaggerate about all kinds of things. Men are known for lying to women about wanting to be in committed relationships in order to get into women's pants. Women are known to lying to men about sex to get into committed relationships with them.

It could also confirm that they regretted doing that or that they didn't really value themselves back then and let their partners do something that they no longer permit in a partner now.

Not sure about you but there are things I tolerated when I was younger that I don't tolerate in women now... and in friends, for that matter.

Listen I am SOLIDLY in the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" camp. After 3 decades of being sexually active, I don't feel like owning up to some stuff I did. The exception is we have told each other how old we each were losing our virginity. We have both been married and both been divorced. We both know what happens in those cases...

Does it really matter?

I mean, if you're a good judge of character, know the red flags, and don't put up with her BS, then you'll dump a bad woman long before the "f*ck count" conversation comes up.

I'm convinced if you graphed low-moral and bad relationship-choice women vs their f*ck count, the lines would correlate 100%. Hey, no one stays a virgin until marriage anymore but women worth dating and of integrity demonstrate favorable characteristics early on and consistently throughout a relationship. There are far more important factors than how many guys she's banged IMO, because as menteiond, it correlates to her overall character anyway.

Using the car analogy, a man that pretends he wants a relationship to get sex is like someone going to a car dealer and pretending they're gonna buy to get a free test drive.

Women are not machines. Plain and simple. They operate on emotions and experiences. Quit treating them like a depreciating object and you might have better luck making a relationship last. Her experiences in the last 30 days have a lot more to do with how she treats/views you than anything that came before that.

Yes and I'm sure a lot on here have things they'd rather not divulge.

For example, I wouldn't tell any girl that i slept with around 50 bar girls in South East Asia over 15 years ago. Nor do I have any desire to repeat that in tge slightest, or believe it represents who I am now and will be in new relationships.
