It's human nature to want to get revenge on those who have wronged you and especially those who have bullied you when you were younger.

But what does it actually get you? Sure, it might make you feel good for a short time, but the sheer emotional energy you have spent brooding over this for years and decades has caused you to severely limit your potential in life.

Negativity begets negativity. Focusing on hatred and anger and all the base emotions end up dragging you down to a lower level and vibrational frequency.

As Confucius said many millenia ago...

"Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves. One for your intended. The other for yourself."

One person had every reason to want to destroy his childhood bully when he met them later in life but instead he chose to lift them up instead...he had become an internationally famous success and world champion MMA fighter, his bully a homeless man begging on the street. How easy it would have been for him to laugh at him and tell him he got what he deserved. Or kicked his ass. He didn't do any of that...

His story is one of redemption and uplifting your fellow man...something we all could learn to do better and take a lesson from him.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
