A couple days ago I created a thread that showed how to act when your girlfriend is being a bit of a brat, that thread can be viewed here:http://http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=211865

Its extremely important that you handle most encounters this way. If her behavior is less than entertaining, you give her less attention. Its not done because you are p1ssed off....its done because you just dont find her worth your attention at that point(Think of it like you have better things to do). Its a covert way to communicate to your girlfriend instead of the insta-kneejerk reaction to blow up on her and call her out on her sh1t. Arguing is a waste of time and little progress is ever made....and as Sun Tzu once said "“The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.” This should be the mindset 95% of the time when dealing with a bratty girlfriend.

With that being said, Id like to talk about the 5% of the time you SHOULD ACTUALLY call her out on her behavior. This 5% is called a thunderbolt and its effects should be something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jm3rHONOr9o

IF YOUR GIRLFRIEND WANTS TO CONTINUE TO ARGUE AFTER YOU HAVE THROWN YOUR THUNDERBOLT.......YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG.

SHE SHOULD EITHER
A.) START CRYING IMMEDIATELY
B.) SHUTS UP

Thunderbolts should be reserved for those extreme times when shes getting extra b1tchy and starts to border on rude. I think 9 out of 10 guys take things women do wayyy too personal so they feel like its always worth calling her out. Its not....quit being a b1tchbasket and reserve your anger when she actually is pushing it.....not when starts talking to some "guy friend" from class.

Heres a real life example:
Girlfriend was upset with her results from a test
Me: Its all good. Youll be fine.
Gf: Ya I guess.
I go over her test and start to ask questions in an attempt to help her find where she messed up
Me: You know you can always ask me for help.
Gf: Well you didnt say that! How am I supposed to know to ask you
Me: Im just saying, I can help is all.
Gf: Goes on some b1tchy rant and starts making me the bad guy
Me: Are you fvcking serious? Im here trying to help you and you're acting like a huge brat (said with a raised voice and stern look, looking directly into her eyes)
Gf: *Turns head away, stares straight, and begins to cry. Eventually apologizes after a couple minutes of crying on my shoulder*

Thats how a thunderbolt and calling out your girlfriend is executed. You MUST reserve these for the rarest occasions and must do so with a serious face and raised tone of voice. You can equate it to when your father would scold you growing up. If her reaction is not like I mentioned above and she continues on or even takes things to the next level, it is recommended you remove yourself from the scene and I would propose that you are using your thunderbolts either 1.) Too often 2.) She doesnt respect your male personality. Either of which are not good....

Your girlfriend is b!tching you out again? This is all pointless. Your thunderbolt and indifference isn't working. Her behavior isn't changing. It's getting worse. You're spending more time trying to discipline her than have a relationship. It's clear that she's unhappy with you and the relationship. Unhappy girlfriends will pick fights for no reason. She berated you because you parked the car in a different spot. Then she got mad about a simple thing as a test. Girls who are happy with their man don't act that way. She withholds sex, thinks about her ex in bed, fights with you, cries all the time, and turns you into a bad guy. All signs of an unhappy girlfriend. You both sound way too immature to be in a relationship anyway. You think your disciplinary action is working, but it is not. It's having the opposite effect. She isn't changing, she's getting worse. This shows in every thread you write. She is the one wearing the pants. You should think about getting a new girlfriend before she gets another boyfriend.
