if you think being rejected hurts.. then you need to start practising on it.
seek a job as a telephone salesman (selling stuff over the phone, insurances for instance..).
im telling you, you will get rejected alot of times, you will be feeling "down" at times.. but with time.. you will be able to cope with it and not care anymore.
and its very helpful out in the real world when you chase women :)
