as for the original topic the majority of couples I see are close in height so short guys shouldn't be insecure

As far as this thread goes, I'm 5'8 and have seen a bit of that although not overwelming or anything.... that being said... I don't think anyone would want to be with such an insecure "shorter" girl anyway... there are plenty of shorter girls who are secure enough though to not need their man to be 6 feet tall anyway, my last two girlfriends were 5'6 and 5'4 and the main girls i'm messing with now are 5'2 and 5'4, go figure

I'm a short but muscular guy and i like little tiny girls. To be fair though I don't feel short anymore I think I'm just right
What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Being 5'7" and some loose change, I can't seem to really remember EVER having been with a woman shorter than me.

Come to think of it, wow, out of the... uh, no need to brag here, I'll just say perhaps .5% or less of the chicks I've been with have been shorter than me. When I say shorter, I mean more than an inch shorter. I wouldn't mind hooking up with some women in the 5' - 5'4" range. But, wouldn't you know it, they're with guys that are over 6'. Very odd indeed. Good observation.
The funniest part, I would say, is that I've been with more women that have been 2 or more inches taller than me than my height or less. Jeez, I've been with some skyscrapers... eye level with their chest is pretty funny when you are dancing. These kind of chicks you have to stand on the floor to do them doggy when they are kneeling on the bed. That kinda sux, but then again, it kinda rox.
Here is some inspiration for you short guys:
I had a in-depth conversation one evening with a woman whom I had been seeing for nearly a year (FB). I had brought up how comfortable we were together and how odd it was that our height never came up as an issue. This chick was 4" taller than I was! Her reply was basically "That IS odd. I never really noticed!" I thought she was BS'ing and trying to make me feel better for being short, so I prompted her to further expand on why she thought that may be. She went on to tell me that, since we always looked each other in the eye it seemed that we were both at the same eye level. She added that my broad shoulders, posture, loud voice, and "big" personality also created the impression that I was "larger" and stood taller than I actually did.
So there you have it: eye contact. Just another reason to look a woman in the eye.
