"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

DJs at this site will tell AFCs to forget about all the girls they knew in their past and work towards establishing new ones.

However what if you are to run into a girl you once knew from high school in an awkard situation? Obviously it is hard to try to be your "new" self, because the old image of yourself in their heads is still embedded within them, and you (or atleast I) will unconsciously avoid that.

I just had finished an intense kickboxing workout, and was drenched with sweat pouring out of my pores. Looked worse than shaq.

As i'm walking to the bathroom to was my face Boom i run into this girl I went to high school with. Now I am feeling totally self conscious all of a sudden . It like attacked out of no where. I keeppicturing myself sweating like an idiot the whole time and go on with the typical small talk you would after meeting an old time aquaintence.

I totally have the "fight or flight" feeling running through my body, and I am feeling like "fvkc WHY do i have to run into her at this moment?"

I am obviously talking awkard and somewhat fast as anyone in panic/social anxiety mode would, then quickly exuse myself. And I see a smile upon her face like she is laughing at my nervousness.

I was having a tremendously great day before this situation happened. And I am worried she might tell friends in her circle which could spread to friends I know and just give people a real bad impression of me. And when i know people who have gotten a bad impression of me I tend to avoid them.

When stuff like this happens my confidence level seems to go back down, when it was before doing sufficiently well. Don't get me wrong. I am not social inept or anything, but I am not the greatest either. I socialize well depending on my mood which rises and falls like the stock market and this situation has made me feel downright dreadful.

Now I just realized I was going to delete how much I wrote, but I am going to leave it to note that guys like me have a problem with overanalzying these situations...For instance, we overanalzye and forget to come up with a way how we can benefit from such a horrible event.

How would I act to such a person if I see them again, after knowing that they witnessed me in an awkward moment?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

It's okay. I have that problem too. It shows just how little control we have over ourselves.

Outloud, if you please: "I'm going to get through this, just like I always do. In fact, bad times are great, because they always come right before good times."

You got that right... men work out and sweat... if she has a problem with that then she has a problem with you making progress... she's no good...

Actually... you got that backwards... what you should be more concerned with is meeting up with an old classmate and your new self being worse than your former self...
