"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Does anybody have Attention deficit disorder? I've taken several online tests and the results conclude that i have a lot of the traits synonymous with ADD.

I feel like my job performance and learning quality suffer due to my inability to concentrate and focus. In college, i had a hard time taking the tests and concentrating during lectures. I have always been dependent on my intellect, however this dependency isn't always proactive.

MY questions are:

1. How were you diagnosed?

2. How did you improve your diagnosis

3. Is your quality of life better?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I wouldn't rely on the results of Online tests to determine whether you are ADD or not for the same reason that you shouldn't be diagnosing yourself through drug commercials on television. Those kinds of tests would diagnose almost everybody as having a problem, and that cannot be the case.

That being said, I think we all do in fact show some symptoms of ADD, so much so that most of the people that are diagnosed with it don't really have a physical problem. Right now as I am writing this, I SHOULD be typing up a history paper that is due tomorrow, but am distracted with the internet. THAT is the real problem that everybody has, distractions. It is hard to concentrate on anything when I could be on this website or listening to music or watching Adult Swim. The cure most of the time is to focus on focusing. Unplug the internet connection and discipline yourself to concentrate better. If you SERIOUSLY think that you have a problem then you may want to try a diagnosis by a doctor or psychologist. I have a feeling that the monotony of work is just not exciting enough for you to pay attention too hard.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
