Sneev, what the fvck is life even about, and why does every girl I seduce immediately want to leave me when I give her hints that I want a relationship? I mean, I'm 25 and I have a decent job. I'm getting to a decently high job at this office I work at. I may even get manager someday! I doubt that, though. Anyways, why does life suck? I want to know more about life than girls. Isn't that what being a Don Juan is about? Something to do with "merging dream with day" like Pook said.... I just don't get it. Please help?

I don't get it, Sneev. That's just how you kiss a girl. I've already done this. I wanted to know why I can kiss a girl 10-20 times and then she gets bored of me and leaves when I start to want a serious relationship.

Oh! This is one of my favorite shows! That, and this one about zombies called Walking Dead and this other anime. I also watch My Little Pony, but my friends think that's dumb.
You watch... Wait, you watch a CHILDREN'S SHOW? Why the fvck do you even have that many favorite shows? What is this, the reason you live? To watch TV? Jesus, kid. You won't even remember what color Peter Griffin's shirt is by the time I'm done with you.
Why is TV so bad?
Listen: Can you honestly stop and look at yourself in the mirror thinking "I am almost the man I dreamed I would be when I was young!", or do you think "Man, I hope my hair looks alright. I really might meet a cute girl at the grocery store today."
Well... I don't really do either... well, I mean sometimes I notice on my nose... and I look in the mirror to check my hair alot... sometimes I don't like the way the right side of my hair lo- Oh my god, I do think that. I am always looking for women. Well what's wrong with that anyways?!
Calm it, nub. The point is, you're not doing what you should be. Listen, when I was little, I wanted to be an actor. Honestly, Spiderman was my inspiration. I was young, and I loved Spiderman because of that movie. I always was into the agile, quick type of superhero and action character, so I got into acrobatics as a kid. I learned to do flips and whatnot on my own, without taking classes. I later decided that I wanted to be on a screen like Spiderman was. I wanted to become that superhero. So, with that, I decided to become an actor. I've been pursuing it ever since then.
I don't get it. What if I just want to have a happy family and kids?
IS that what you dreamed of doing as a child? Can you honestly say you still want to just "settle down", or would you prefer to be famous and marry a woman who matches all of your interests? You could do incredible things, like travel to Egypt and explore there, go scuba diving to see deep sea creatures, go sky-diving, buy a plane, blow things up, or ANYTHING! All of that, and you could be merely doing the thing you love to do for the way you get all of the money to pay for this stuff.
Well, I mean, that's the obvious choice... but what if I don't make it? Then I can fallback and marry someone and be happy!
See, THIS is the mindset you need to wipe away. Don Juan seduced women because he did not give a sh!t about them. He had aspirations that busied him far too much to deal with women. Here's your fallback plan: There IS no fallback plan. Life does not matter if you're not doing what you love. If you're dreaming to throw your life away and live outside of your compassion to create and express, you're not dreaming. You're having a nightmare.

Well... what about the people who don't watch TV, yet still go to the bar?
Maybe they're hanging with some beta friends, or they're looking to get some poon-tang because they're horny.
Well I guess that makes sense. What if those beta friends only like to hang with him at a bar or watch TV and movies with their friends? How would the Alpha guy remain friends with him?
This is where all of this ties into Barney. See, Barney isn't usually at the bar, is he? I mean, they go there quite a bit, but not as much as some people do. What is Barney usually doing? Look at this episode. He's out playing freeze tag. He's having fun. Chances are, if he likes freeze tag a lot, or even as a hobbie, he'll meet someone else who likes freeze tag.

Exactly. I don't consider anyone worth spending too much time on if they don't like the arts. I want to do what I love AND have a relationship. Not one or the other.
Oh.. I suddenly get it. Except not really. Why can't you just have a girlfriend that doesn't like the arts? Can't you get along for other reasons?
Man, you don't have time to pursue something with all of your heart, AND spend 5 or 6 hours a day talking to your wife on the couch while you watch Twilight. If you want to get really big with what you love, you need to put everything you have. IF you have a wife or girlfriend that does this as well, you can both do it at the same time and enjoy each other while you're building life higher. You'll be doing what you're called to do in this life, and be happy with someone who is interested in the things you are.
Why can't you have different careers?
Think about it this way, have you ever seen a celebrity get married at a young age? Say.. like 20-25?
