"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

If you were spinning plates you would be able to next this hoe much more easily.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

How does he even know the kid belongs to the supposed military rapist guy? How many other unanswered questions are there that will eventually drive him crazy?

OP, why do you wan't to deal with this crap? Like the above guy said, do you have any other options?

I don't know anyone in her chain of command, so all my information comes from her. Supposedly she reported this as rape at some point, and he is facing court martial for this and other incidents. She says the military ordered a paternity test and that he is definitely the father.

I'm busy with work and school but it wouldn't be impossible to find someone else. I'm not sobbing into her voicemail or anything, and i have few illusions about her maturity or trustworthiness. Given her history i never really did. But like i said we got close and i want to at least talk before i completely move on

The only way I would even consider staying with her is if she got rid of the kid. No way I am dealing with that kid. If she was raped she should want to abort it.

She was about 5 weeks pregnant when she found out. She said she was on her way to the abortion clinic and couldn't go through with it - she'd done some research and was too freaked out by the progress the embryo had already made. Refer to post title...

Then again, that was before she told me and I let her know I wouldn't be a part of that. It's been a few days and she already spent one night in the hospital, so maybe she changed her mind.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

No abortion? Then you are gone. Don't you dare even think about being involved with that kid.

No argument about the kid. Something she and I can talk about if I ever hear from her again.

Your women says she got raped by another man and you want to be supportive??? Leave that supportive sh1t for her friends, what you should have done was beat the sh1t out of the other guy for doing something like that to the women you love, unless you actually don't care about her and make her move away from you instead of protecting her and her dignity.. I don't understand people anymore..

I've had to stomp dudes before. She couldn't tell me where to find him, and I don't even have a name. Also he's probably on a secure military facility, which makes retribution secondary to sorting things out with her.

So he should beat the crap out of the guy, so he can get arrested and go to prison for assault, all because of a womans word? Let me know how that turns out for you. You are a white knight.

Virtually none of this story adds up to me.
If she was truly raped, surely she would be seeking to bring the full force of the law down upon him.
But all you've got is her words. Did she even tell you the guy's name? Can she show you a police report or some other document outlining her complaint?
Has she sought counselling? As her partner, shouldn't she be including you in any action she wants to take?
It smells like she cheated and has now pulled the rape card. My other question is, how does she know for sure it's not yours?
She might've done some calculations and realised she got impregnated while she wasn't with you and had to make up a story to cover her arse.
And if she says she had a paternity test and knows it's his, that would mean she would need access to his DNA. If the military hospital had access to it, I'm sure there would be one hell of a legal process to use it.
And from what I can gather, in vitro paternity tests are quite a big deal and something that would take a lot of effort to procure.
I smell BS.
If she can answer the above questions and provide proof via documentation, then that's another story. Until then, I wouldn't believe a word of it.

As I said, she claims that the military performed a paternity test which concluded he is the father. I passed judgment before I asked about the timeline of her official report, but after she left I realized that implied a serious investigation. I don't have the actual paperwork but this is more ambiguous than I'd first realized. I didn't ask his name; it wouldn't have meant anything to me after she told me she didn't know where to find him.

I'm certain she wasn't lying about the paternity test. She would have had every reason to make me believe it's mine.

Have you seen any PROOF of this military paternity test or just what she says? There should be some paperwork that she will be happy to show you.

Right now she won't even talk to me, much less come over and show me a stack of paperwork.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

She could be a compulsive liar. It is a very real psychological problem. I dated one in college for a while. When you question their story, they tend to react with anger. So the anger she is feeling toward you is not part of the act; it's part of the disorder.

Is there any chance it's your kid? Or someone else's? Maybe you're not the only one she's lying to. She could just hate the guy she is accusing, and be making up the rape story. Sex while on a navy ship is a serious no-no. The only way for a woman to not get into trouble is to claim rape.

Good!
Her story was ridiculous.
Sounds like a nut, liar and 5lut!

Now she's found a way to turn it all around and put it on you so she won't feel guilty betraying a good man and his family.

Trash!!!

It's sad, but you're way better off and you'll thank fate someday.

Im quite certain that most women 'shut down' as I am certain most of those women are 'raped' voluntarily and experience extreme regret at their actions after the fact. 4 or 5 drunk indian guys in Alberta accosted my brother and mother in a street alley. My mother ended up in the hospital beaten in the face by several of them but my brother told me she fought like a polar bear to keep them off of my little bro.

'Shut down'? I don't buy it for one second.

Why would you even want to date a military chic? They turn me off more than fat lesbians. They are men with a p/ssy, not feminine at all. I wish the OP would just wash his hands of this chic, but he is a slave to her p/ssy.
