"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I was think today that most black men you see with women are stereotypes. The rare black men who are short, thin and basically not what society thinks is black. These rare black men I think have it much more worse. They have no places like china or Japan to run off to when game isn't working in the west. Even so if they were to go to Asia most women still expect black men to be large tall muscular stereotypes.

Now if you're a computer anime loving gamer skinny short 5'5 black guy, I think you have maybe a 1% chance of ever finding a girl.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I ask a favor of the moderators....Can we just ban these guys? Common sense tells me that these guys (Jplaya, Ringleader, etc) are trolls. They're likely the same person.

Even if they weren't trolls, the topic has been discussed ad nauseum. A simple click of the "search" button would suffice....but instead we have our 100th "race thread" in 5 days.

I'm not THAT sensitive in regards to racial discussions. But when it becomes obvious that posters are creating these troll threads as a mockery of racial issues, it just ends up offending ALL races.

Right. Because 5'5" skinny computer anime-loving gamers of OTHER races are just swimming in poon. The girls are lining up for them.

Aw, but guys, I think he really has a point!

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Funny how this site can straight up call women out for being hypergamous yet we can't speak out on the downside of black life. Truth is people expect certain things from each race. Asians are expected to be stereotypical smart and geeky. Black men are stereotyped to be the tall musclebound hyperaggressive group.

My point is that it's hard for black men who aren't the stereotype. Black men are seen as strange by WOMEn if they like anime but hate sports. American society teaches people that black men can only like sports and other hypermasculine things. So when a black man steps outside the norm he gets the "he's creepy" from women considering 95% of the women on this planet are mindless conformist basic creatures. Most women always want men to be slaves following some damn code of what men should be. So if a black men isn't doing what women define as being male he is punished by being forced into being alone.

No, I was saying girls don't desire them. Girls in general try to enslave men into one standard gender role. Thus women are the enemy.

Until you start viewing yourself as a human being as opposed to being some particular color and what you perceive as a sterotype of that color, you'll always have problems. Fvck what other people think. Just be yourself and at peace.

We're all human beings. That's what we all have in common.

Yeah. I'm just making that up for fun. I figure "Hey, I've been a part of sosuave for 10 years. Time to lie about my skin color."

I act really white and nerdy but Im 6ft 1 and jacked.
I've grown up in the suburbs around many suburban black people who fit under trypically "non-black" styles...Skaters. Hippies. Heavy metal guitarists...

I've never once heard any of them say "I act really white." If anything, that's what OTHER people say when they're making fun of this type of black person.

And that's how I know you're a troll. Because you define acting like yourself as "acting white".

I play guitar. I don't use street slang. And I dress like a hipster. I don't call that "acting white" and I never would....I call it, "being myself."

It does kind of suck because most black people think Im lame and white people dont but I still have to put up with racist jokes.
Yeah. It's a tough world. At least you have internet access and message boards to troll.

Note to Desdinova and the other mods:

As you can see, you can lock all the threads you want. The best way to get rid of these annoying, trolling race threads is to ban the guys who keep starting them. It's pretty much the same 5 posters.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I have to say that Iceberg truly has heart. The man is constantly bombarded by losers, nay-sayers, and haters, and yet he always pulls through and gives honest, good advice.

With a healthy load of sarcasm, but still.

Cheers to you, sir. You deserve another vacation.

Well, that's the pot calling the kettle...

Anyway, JPlaya, there used to be a picture of a woman in the Oxford English Dictionary under the definition for "b*tching," but I guess we should write them to change it to a picture of you, huh?

I hope that kettle doesn't act nerdy and lame. Otherwise, he's gonna have a rough time getting the white cookware to go on a date with him.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Yawn...

I'd argue that anyone regardless of race who seems unique and individual will have a leg up in the game.

And it's sad that if a black dude isn't a "stereotype" the only other type he can be is a 5' 5'' nerd.

So untrue.

IBTL!

I'm black and I've been in chambers with all races. Race don't mean sh*t. You will not be attractive to every woman. Sorry.

This race thread sh*t is boring and pointless.

The mods are hereby ordered to close this sh*t.

Case closed. Get out of my court.

Lock this ****ing sh!t. You do realize nearly all successful black men who aren't in the NBA or NFL are in the 5'6-5'10 range right?

Floyd Mayweather 5'8
T.I. 5'7-5'9
Young Jeezy 5'9
Nas 5'9-5'10
Ludacris not even 5'10
Both Ja Rule and Lil Wayne are 5'5-5'6
Tech N9ne 5'8
Kanye West 5'8
Mike Tyson 5'10 which is considered "short" for his boxing division.
Etc. too many to list really

Really height is something us black guys do not stress over. Especially Hispanic guys. It's really white guys who stress over that ****. Didn't even know height was this much of an issue till I got into the PU community.
