"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Getting out there!

it seems to me that the most essential advice, the key component in all this dj stuff is this:

get out there & meet women.

That seems to be the essential point and the dividing line between those who succeed with women & those who don't.

in my mind, i have a theory that most guys who are unsuccessful with women live lives that provide very little ACTUAL EXPOSURE to women in a pick up setting!

sure, they may not be ultra djs as we've come to think of the archetype, but there are a lot of guys that are ALRIGHT.... not ultra wuss bags... but still highly unsuccessful with women. i would suggest that the biggest problem is that they don't ever meet any women!

Even if all the other dj advice turns out to be bunk, SIMPLY GETTING OUT THERE & TRYING A PICK UP would increase your odds of success astronomically.

But this begs the question - where do you go to meet women & can you do it alone?

Sarging parties - not a party like a fiesta but a party like a d&d group of adventurers (that alone probably rules out any possibility of success huh? UNLESS you make the saving throw!).

No official gurus or mentoring. Just guys shooting the ****.

Not an emphasis on planned outings. More just a roster of guys in your area that you can meet up with to provide you with social proof & so you don't have to hit a club alone.

someone wants to go out, sends mass email to group to see who wants to go. Willing guys set date, time, itinerary.

Everyone just meets up at a denny's then hit the town.

so how about we create a list of guys broken down by area that we can mass email? i guess it can be done through the forum as well but somehow, it seems mass emails would work better for some reason... although, then i guess we open up the danger of spammers... sigh.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Every guy I think meets Hot Babes everyday, when they go to the shops or where ever, but they don't make the most of these opportunities, if you can learn to accept that many Hot Babes won't desire to be with you and keep on persisting and not worrying about being rejected then it shouldn't be that hard to find a Hot Babe that will go out with you.

Getting good with women is like driving.

You have to actually drive a car to learn how to drive a car.

Just reading about it or watching other people isn't enough.

You got to go out and there take your bumps, learn real life lessons, and thats' how you grow.

lol, disciple I think fewer people know how to skateboard.

To learn to skate, you have to get up on on it every time you fall off.
Your not allowed to sit back and cruise when your on a skateboard.
You can't BUY good skills.(gasoline)
To get onto a skateboard, after you've fallen off hard is courage.
You can't practice, if you don't bring your board with you everywhere you go.

With a car, you can go over the bumps of life, and repair whatever damage comes your way, because it is not you that is actually being hurt.

That's me in a nutshell. Most my friends are either in relationships or married now, and I'm not the one that likes going to clubs and bars by myself with no social proof. It's an awkward situation.

hey speakeasy,

that's me too.... for me, i have a bunch of christian friends and i'm not! so i don't get the community that they have and i've got no social proof or back up to tear into the secular community... hahaha... i'm so screwed....

oh well... i ain't dead yet and sarging parties are still an option i can try to work out at some point....

---------------------------------------

as for just meeting women at barnes and nobles or the super market or whatever... as an adult (as opposed to a student) who lives in L.A., it doesn't seem to work here. everyone's mindset seems to be more guarded and they are not open to meeting people in such venues. i'm pretty convinced it has to be something like the traditional watering hole.
