size and weight, really. or a bra rig, wrist holster, back of neck (under long hair). This gun is so superior to a derringer or .22 mini-revolver as to make any comparison laughable. It has a 7 rd box mag, and is "thin" at 3/4" thickness. No more bulge in your pocket holster than a cell phone, really. A stack barrel derringer is just 2 shots, and ****ing the hammer for each shot takes 1 full second,if done with just one hand. Same with the awkard .22 mini revolvers. The Keltec .32 is double action. Just pull the trigger 8x. It can take as little as 1.3 seconds to fire all 8 rds of .32 Jhp's, jacketed hollowpoints. A 12 ga blast of 00 buckshot is just 9 of the same size and power pellets (as the .32 ammo). 8 holes in you will leak a lot of blood, very swiftly.
200 ft lbs of power CAN be had, safely, IF you reload, but factory ammo is sub 100 ft lbs. The semi-rim of this rd's casing can cause feeding problems with hollowpoint ammo. The Winchester Silvertip jhp, (60 grains of bullet weight) is just 850 fps, feet per second of bullet-speed) as it comes from the factory. With a sort of hollowheaded mallet, called an "inertial bullet-puller", you can pull the bullets from factory ammo and load enough Alliant Bullseye powder to get the velocity up to 1200 fps, where the jhp will actually expand in flesh.
Chuck up each rd in a drill, lock the trigger, clamp the drill in a vise, hold a file on the spinning rim. Remove .040" from the OD of the rim and you'll have no rimlock feeding problems. Extraction and ejection will not be affected, either. Be sure to bevel-deburr the rims when you are done removing the side metal.
