"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

We live in a violent world and eventhough you might be a respectful nice person who would never start trouble, it does not mean trouble will find you.

1.) It gets you into shape

2.) You learn discipline and can become more spiritual

3.) When you have an attractive g/f, wife etc. your chances of confrontation increase (especially in a bar). If someone disrespects your g/f or grabs her in a sexual way, you will have to confront the person on it. Remember, most people will not care if you have a attractive woman, but be prepared to deal with some haters.

4.) You can make new friends

5.) You will be more calm and confident in a potentional confrontation. People who do not know how to defend themselves will panic when they feel that adrenaline rush. If you know how to defend yourself, you will be more calm and be able to avoid getting physical.

I took martial arts for a year and would like to get back into it. I think these are valid points. Some people are passive and will always yield to the person insulting them because they are afraid of physical confrontation. Martial Arts can help with this.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Not putting down martial arts one bit, but each of your points can be said about learning Kamasutram (plus it's a bit more fun ;) ).

azanon - heh, good point :)

mahon - 1) and 2) are good points, though seeking spirituality in martial arts... hm. Not where I would start seeking. Take up yoga, autogenous training of else, if that is what you want. But whatever rocks your boat.

3) is a valid point as well. I have been in my life in countless situations that could have ended in violence, but not once had to defend myself (done 12 years of ving chun, taek won do and jujitsu btw). And this in no way by out-alphaeing the guy looking for trouble, but by de-escalating, using social skills. There hardly ever is a situation you can´t manoeuver out of using social skills.

4) yeah.. but folks in martial arts tend to be rather...hm... simple. But that depends on your dojo.

5) true.

If you want to defend youself effectively, I would recommend Muay Thai, boxing or kick boxing. It makes you a dangerous fighter, but you have to be ready to get hit in the noodle all the time in training. Not what a guy older than 25 might want, I guess.
Karate etc. sucks when it comes to self defense. It gives you a feeling of false security that might get your bones broken easily in a real fight.
Basically - no way of becoming a fighter without getting the shYt beaten out of you in the process. If you want to do kata and stuff, take up karate..

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Why do you think karate sucks?

I have strong reason to beleive it doesn't because I did karate for just over three years and it happened to make my reflexes very quick.

Don't you know how good it feels when someone tries to punch you in close range like four times (in front of an entire class, in school) and you're able to deflect each attemp so easily you didn't realize you did it until after the action?

Yes, I surprised my ownself that day.

Karate is a very good discipline, just like Tiquando and all the other disciplines, its just which one you prefer and want to specialize in, or which you simply like best.

I love karate.

I did a martial art once - it was complete bollox. We trained at super slow speed, and theres no way you could use it in a real fight. I'll usually give something a while before I quit something, but I just couldn't be arsed with it tbh.

I agree that learning a martial arts form is good for spirituality, though I disagree that is assists in fighting. You should never get into a physical fight. If someone wants your money, give them the money cause it's only money. If they want to fight over a woman, get another woman. If the guy just wants to fight, buy him a drink and talk about sports or some other ****. If the guy throws a punch walk away, cause he'll probably land a few more and you might break something.

I've taken black dragon kung fu, aikido, kickboxing, etc. etc. etc. and what I've learned is that 90% of fights at a bar go to the ground (cause the aggressor is usually wasted). So if you want to prepare yourself for a fight take Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and/or Wrestling.

Right now I'm an MMA fighter. These are all very good points.

It gives you a sense of confidence- an aura you walk around with, that most women are immediatly attracted to.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Yeah, that´s what I was talking about. Unless you are doing full contact karate, you are fooling yourself into a feeling of security that won´t get you anywhere in a serious street fight, unless you are very advanced. Not to diss on your karate, but modern western non- or semi contact karate is not meant to give you street fighting skills, but is more of a sport.

True. Only serious drawback is that in ground fighting, you are prey to any second guy that wants to kick the shYt out of you. So you should try everything not to end up wrestling on the ground.

BTW a highly dangerous fighter would be a judoka who learned to punch... like a judo black belt after half a year of additional boxing. But only in a one on one... if a second guy or group was involved, he would get killed on the ground, as I said.

Judo was one of those martial arts I was looking into, but it seems to be more of a sport than a self-defense system.

I like Hapkido because it has strikes and grappling.
