When I send well thought replies and touch on things in their profiles (actually showing I read their profile) the girls like that you took the time to read it. I note in her profile she's divorced and has no kids but wants kids she states on her profile.

I did of course. She's logged off now so she hasn't seen my reply. I hate that with OLD like you reply or message someoen then they log back in a month later and of course they have like 300 messages so they never see it. Timing is huge on OLD as well and catching them on at the right time as well. If she gets the reply and replies back I'll send another then I'll likely ask for the phone number. While I'm talking to this chick trying to get a date if she replies, should I try salvaging that HB7 that got mad at me still?

She has like 25 pics of herself. Once I get the number I can then go and to those reverse look ups and get her name and then look her up on facebook to see more pics but she's slim so no landwhale here.

I know exactly what you mean but I'd assume she will be looking for your response since she took the time to send you a substantial message. If not, you'll have avoided a flake before it causes you to waste too much time.

Very true. This is why I always snag a number after about 3 replies. Works about 60 percent of the time at least. If they don't want to give it out then I know it's low interest.

The one thing to caution is when you do text with chicks some of them text your eyeballs off for hours.

For you, I would suggest that, yes.

You think and talk far too much. OLD only enables this.

Attraction is simple. Getting a date is simple. It is hard for guys because they make it hard for themselves.

A little eye contact, a smile, a hello, some brief chit chat and a number. Takes all of 5 minutes or less. Minimalistic.

When this simplicity doesn’t work, it is because you are not making changes that are required to make it work; ie, looks, social acuity, clothes, the way you approach... whatever it might be.

Instead, you’re trying to improve with lengthy essays, tackling distance problems, etc. things that are not simple, like attraction really is.

Do you realize you just introduced yourself as a businessman with this woman, yet you’re in here constantly asking how do you get over the hurdle of explaining what you do for work without turning these women off?

You’re spinning your tires.

Do something different. Stop introducing yourself that way and just learn how and when simplicity works best.

Face to face attraction, simplicity, is the best way to adjust what is too much, what is too little and to the ways that simple attraction works.

Once you get that down, then give OLD another shot in the same mold.

The one problem with in person game is the lack of younger people around here. Seriously. I said my town's median age is 67 and the county as a whole is 56. County to my north is the same and to my south not a ton younger so I message people 40 or more miles away. This girl is 30 miles away, pretty close.

I want to say one thing and I'll say it seriously before you lose me again. I never had any luck using this board, or any board, the way you are doing it to get any woman I had success with in the past. You'll notice in my threads if I discuss any woman, they are all in the distant past and at a point that no advice can work because they are gone.

When I did have success I just did my own thing or whatever I did and it just worked out. Do you really want your life to be scripted by strangers?

There is one old thread I wrote which challenged that I would find a girlfriend before December 21, 2012, and the former alias name I had was "Luke Skywalker" which was banned. I met this girl online both in 2009 and then again in February 2012 where I met her on March 10, 2012, and 2012 is archived as the best year of the decade where I basically had a romantic adventure that involved lots of making-out, and connection at a level that it looks like it came right out of a movie. Do you realize that I wrote a goal somewhere on paper and happened to met a soul-mate before the date I wrote in an old thread? If you say, bigoal will find the right girl before X,Y,Z, date, then I think it might happen because subconsciously you'll be expecting it.

One of the best experiences I've had is based on the fact nobody told me what to do. Did I open my soul with her, tell her I love her, that I want to marry her, or do everything WRONG I was not supposed to do to be a total beta/AFC? Yes I did. She loved me for me while I was seeing her and it was like magic with me.

I want you to have a great experience to, but I can tell you, having this type of stuff going over advice boards, just kills everything if you look at it because it's not going to be you. It's going to be you, plus somebody else's thoughts or mindset or experience that is not you, and I feel that whatever you get won't be as nice as what I had experienced when it was totally going with the flow and just letting it happen.

So my advice to you is to work on your inner game, visualize something great happening to you, and just going with the flow without posting about it. I don't have a memory of a GREAT experience that was mediated by posting things online to strangers. You get emotional support but it doesn't help you get a great experience at the end of the day.
