"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I have been thinking a lot of things that hamper a person from living a good life. I have a list of 4 things that I have I noticed. Tell me what you think.

1.) Lack of discipline: This is probably the most devastating problem on the list. Having discipline down pact is the key to reaching even the smallest goals. Think about how many new year’s resolutions have gone unaccomplished because of a lack of discipline. Every thing from losing 10 lbs to getting that degree requires discipline.

2.) Not taking constructive criticism/self-reevaluation: This one takes a lot of humility. Good friends and family members often can see flaw in your lifestyle that you can not. We all have a weakness, and it often takes a 3rd party perspective to notice it. Constructive criticism from a person that loves you can often literally save your life.

3.) People pleasing: This can really destroy a person if they let it. I don’t know where this defect stems from. But I have seen good men, including my father fall because of this one. A perfect example is not being to say no to people. Especially when they ask for money. Generally speaking, most people will not appreciate any favors done for them. Most people are not grateful.

4.) Insecurities: This is a problem that effects social behaviors the most. A lot of odd behavior is rooted in insecurities. AFC behavior is a direct result of insecurities. People pleasing may be a consequence of this. Girls playing mind games is their insecurity. Trying to brag and show off is a symptoms of insecurity. The list can go on and on.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I would throw "lack of respect" in there at number 5.

If you don't respect yourself, you'll engage in self-destructive behaviours.
If you don't respect others, you won't earn respect back and you're more likely to allow yourself to be manipulated.

So many of the world's problems wouldn't exist if people had more respect.

Greasy Pig what exactly do you mean by self respect. Do you mean knowing what you are worth? Are you referring to AFC tendencies? Or do you mean no letting people take advantage of you?

Very interesting and very true.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I think a big one not on the list is realizing and facing the fact that we are products of our childhood and our parents. While there's a lot of good there, there is also a lot of bad. The sooner you address it, learn from it, and grow from it is the day you let go of all sorts of limitations that have been holding you back. Often these are limitations you didn't even know were there or just ignored them for a long time because it was the easy thing to do.

If you respect yourself, you won't put up with any sh!t from low-quality women. You'll also stay fit and look for ways to improve your life.
From respecting yourself, your life should improve and so should your appeal to women.

If you respect others, you make them feel important and, in turn, you command respect yourself.
If you respect others in a way that commands respect from them (ie women), you're more likely to find one that won't treat you like a doormat.

this could be the motto for AFCs worldwide. They start going to the gym with big ambitions and three weeks later they're back lounging on their couch, playing video games and talking about how they're too busy to work out. Or they'll start the 100 approaches challenge and stop after the first 10 rejections, talking about how game ain't sh.it...

This one I would rename "(lack of) Self-Confidence." Due to a series of difficulties/challenges in my life over the last few months (some due to women, others due to work) my self-confidence took a dip and I could see the results in my daily interactions with chicks. However, once I was able to solve my problems and come back on top, my self-confidence has reached unflinching levels once again and my social life has been pumping for the last couple weeks.

Self-confidence is the root of so many insecurities... If guys could just accept themselves for who they are, and try to play to the best of their abilities AT THAT MOMENT, so many more dudes would be getting regular pvssy from hot chicks. For example, after moving to LA, I started buying into the attitude that you need a fancy car/home and plenty of disposable cash to attract the hottest of the women here. Since I have none of the above, I handicapped myself from the start, thinking I couldn't get the HBs I wanted. Now that my confidence is back though, I've been seeing this HB 10, probably one of the top 3 chicks I ever hooked up with, whose ex is a physician (he beats me as far as cars/house/job prestige and $$), yet guess who she chooses to hang out with?

(over) confidence is everything!
