This happened right outside my bar I go to. A 21 year old girl drunk, hits man right in front of the bar prolly from text driving.
She then drives off as the man almost dies. They couldn't get a helechoptor out fast enough so they rushed an ambulance to the big hospitol for major operations downtown.
We are at Perkins tonight as this bouncer is telling us this story about what happened a few weeks ago.
The man almost died but no one at the table or the bar gave a thaught to the man that is never going to be the same.
All anyone could ever talk about was how the chick's life is ruined and how everyone feels bad for the girl. They kept saying "Poor girl, I understand why she went home, sobered up then turned herself in." I pointed out that we dont know if "The girl could have done a line of coke in the bathroom and gave someone a bj before she did a hit and run." Would we feel so bad then?
Everyone kept talking about how bad they felt for the girl.. I think I was the only person who even braught up the guy.
