"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

2 week push up challenge...

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

No where in my post even suggests that this routine will blow you up nor does it say that it is a replacement for any excersize routine NOR does it say that it's anything more then anything else that anyone is trying to make of it.

nice links but it still has no purpose for this thread.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Look. Like I've said, if you have no access to weights, then by all means use pushups. If you DO, then f*ck pushups and pack on some weight.

Then if he has access to weights, why are you so gung ho. Weights build more strength, and more muscle mass.

Look..you obviously haven't done them yourself so you still are clueless to the nature of the routines effects.Refute all you want to but until you have done them yourself, anything you do to try to dispute it really holds no ground at all CONCERNING THIS ROUTINE.

It has NOTHING to do with anything else on the matter..why bring in weights or anything else into the equation when ALL of your reasoning and doubts will be squashed within the first DECK that you do. Soo quick to dispute a strong claim but then again you do nothing but flap your gums without actions.

If you actualy done them yourself and then came back and said..meh, I felt nothing..it clearly dosen't work for me.Then I'd at least respect your opinion on the matter.Right now you are just wasting your time, because as I have stated way too many times;Unless you have done them yourself in the specific manner you have no idea what you are trying to argue about

Oh I can guarantee I'd feel something. Doing 400 of ANYTHING will cause a burn in the muscles like nobody's business. However, I'm not arguing against the pain, or the "burn" I'm arguing against the effectiveness in building strength and mass.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

You are seriously missing out on one of the most excellent ways to build overall upper body toughness as well as developing an enormous ammount of pushing strength.

good riddance ...

Heres is a step by step outline of how someone may feel when doing this routine.

First deck

You'll have a big EGO and most likely rep them out senselessly thinking that push ups ain't shiet.Naturaly you'll get winded and want to quit by the 12-15th card.No biggie, every big headed dope does the same thing. You'll either quit or make up excuses of why you don't need to do them and go lift weights. No problems with that, but thanks for trying.

OR

You'll be smart enough to do them as you flip the card, comfortably at first..thinking to yourself..no sweat, I can do this..afterall they are only push ups. Then by the 20th card you will notice that they are becoming increasingly harder and harder. You maintain a constant effort but still doing so without getting winded. You notice that this is taking more and more effort and because you haven't rep them out like an idiot fueled by EGO you notice that your muscles are becoming increasingly pumped and you feel stronger. As the cards flip through you begin to feel soo pumped that you can't even move, but you do it anyways. You become tired and now winded, and it's taking more and more effort to do the next card. You rest, take a breather and then go on.Until the whole deck is done. When you are finaly done with the deck..that's where the real effect of the deck takes place..but I'll let you all experiance that on your own

The next day you will be pretty sore..maybe soo sore you can't even move depending on your fitness level. You're not gonna want to move let alone do another push up.But it's vital that they are to be done.Because here's what is happening to your body.. you are experiancing a type of shock to the system, stimulation that's soo different from merely lifting weights for low reps or any other excersize you are doing. It's vital that you continue even if it feels like the muscle fibers are going to detach from your bones. It's all a part of a delicate process thats taking place, any modifications to the routine will screw it up. This is both an anabolic and cataboic state but it's a good stress.
Since you are not lifting heavy you do not zap your central nervous system though you are fatiguing your muscles it dosen't directly cause overtraining of the overall system. You'll be sore as heck, but that's the point.

You may feel extremly sore for the next 3 days but take in the weight gainer after as a post workout and you will notice that in about a weeks time, you will be noticably bigger then you once were. Not just bigger but more cut up and your entire upper body will be pretty pumped.

Will this blow you up overnight? NO

Is it an direct replacement for weights? NO

Can you still lift weights? Go for it

If you're repping them out and get winded then rest for 5 minutes between cards then rep them out and get winded again..you're not doing them right.

If you do half the deck and then rest ,then finish it off..you're not doing it right.

If you get winded and using speed as momentum..you are not doing it right.

You must do them as specificaly stated or else you will NOT reap the full benefits of the routine.

The amount of time spent on this routine is probably upwards of an hour. After an hour, the levels of cortisol in your blood fall through the floor, and all gains after that are trashed.

And because of the length/intensity of it, it is likely to be catabolic, and cause you to actually LOSE muscle/strength, instead of gain.

Thanks, but I think I'll stick to Incline Bench for the time being...

fyi, it sounds like a great drinking game. First one to fail midset has to make up the difference w/ drinks.

As for its benefits as far as building muscle, I'd say its actually in the negatives for the reasons posted above.

On top of that, push ups are all relative buddy.

A thick guy with heavy upper body is going to have a much harder time doing 400 push ups than a guy who's built like a pencil. I know a kid who can do 200 pushups in 10 minutes, and not even feel a burn afterwards...Guess what his name is? Yong Tin-Yao... He's a 100lbs thai kid with 0 upper body mass.

how about this one?

Before any of you smart azzes decides to chime in from now on,
only the people that have actually done the routine gets to chime in.
Because unless you have done it yourself then your opinion is totally useless and holds zero accountability on the matter :D

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Very interesting...As a side note, I ONLY do pushups with my feet elevated. I wont do it the other way--it wouldnt feel like a real pushup. I can only do 50 of those at a time, but then again im not in the best shape like I used to be.

At your size, you may need to elevate your hands and feet to get a full stretch. Also,it really is nessessary to use a deck of cards instead just doing a set number. So yes it is close but no cigar.

You have to do them in a very deliberate manner. If you are strong and just repping them out you are making it into an aerobic excersize, which is NOT the point of the routine.Do them in a very slow manner, get the full stretch at the bottom and a full contraction at the top.If you are looking to disprove this routine..go for it,but if you're gonna do it..do it correctly.

Cheers!

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
