So two subs, each one 900 watt R.M.S. @ 4 ohms. I plan on connecting them parallel @ 4 ohms. How much total R.M.S. am I getting? Still 900, or double, 1800?

I'm thinking 1800, am I right?

I know that in electronics, connecting (let's say) 12 volts in series will yield 24 volts, while connecting them in parallel the voltage will remain the same 12 volts, but with double the capacity to source current.

I'm not sure if that translates over to audio, but I would think it would. The only way to do it safely is to ask a professional. It's the kind of thing where one mistake and poof, it's dead.
