"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I haven't really been keeping up with my game recently, and its been suffering. At least I think. Got out of a 2yr relationship and then found out mASF forums were down, ahhhhh. Found this one after randomly searching for something else. Apparently you guys call women "plates" so here I go.

Plate #1
Went to a strip club for friend's bachelor party. Ended up talking to one of them for like 2-3 hours, after I even told her that I had no money. She even ended up giving me money later to throw onstage for other strippers. Ended by taking her number.

Week later set up a date, that I later cancelled because I didn't want to drive that far. I didn't contact her for about a month. When I do contact her, I get her to come to a friend's party, she drives over an hr, and we get along well at the party. This consists of two >5 minute makeouts and her grinding her ass on my crotch for like 10 minutes in the middle of the party. Fast-forward to now.

I setup a date with her at a restaurant where we can both meet easily. An hour before I text for confirmation, no response, hours later I get a text back with a "logical" excuse. My assumption is revenge for when I cancelled before.

I wait another week and then re-engage. She still wants to go out, so we set another date. Once again an hour before, I go for confirmation and she says she can't with her schedule. Now my assumption is that this is done. Correct (Yes/No)

Plate #2
Originally met girl while in college from social circle. Thought nothing of her then. Dated one of her friends for awhile early in college. Later on her best friend tried to have sex with me but I denied, and then on new years this year another one of her friends tried to and I denied. (This is setting up social proof)

I find out from social circle that she is at least somewhat interested in me. So I arrange a date for xx/yy(can't recall). Day of I cancel, didn't feel like doin it then. Then a few days before v-day I arrange a date for v-day. (I assume here that since she was available on v-day its possible I'm the only contender) On v-day I had an activity planned, but she was hungry, and at this point in your life you know the activity was just b/s anyways, so we went to a bar/restaurant type place. Ended up talking there for like 3 hours, both of us running out of what to say but plowing. Even she was plowing. (Good sign now that I think about it) After that we start walkign around the city, bored but still talking (arm-in-arm at this point). After about an hour of walking I say I want to see her again and she agrees, and we kiss on the lips (no tounge). What surprised me, and why I probably typed all this up was that she said either, "That's all you get" or "That's all you get for now." I can't remember which wording. (What are your thoughts on that?)

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Update:

Went out this weekend to a dance club with plate #2 and a group of friends. Two guys and six or seven girls was our group. Most of the time we were on the dance floor. I danced with all the girls in my group, pretty much the entire time, but with her the least.

When we were dancing, we had a little bit of banter and a good amount of grinding/touching. Felt like I was into it more than she was though. At one point we had the sex eye contact and I assumed ddb. But when I went in, I got a response somewhere along the lines of "I don't do that/I don't do that here/I'm not like that" (can't remember wording just message jist). Just said ok, kissed on forehead, (short girl) and went back to what we were doing. Nothing else eventful.

Question: That's anti slut defense right?

Answer:No, that's poor escalation and isolation on your part.

Of course, she's not (in most cases) going to start making out and grinding with you in front of her friends (especially if you also know her friends).

Girls are more likely to make out with a complete stranger in front of her friends, than with a guy they also know (since with a complete stranger she can later rationalise as "it just happened, he was so hot") .

You should have manned the fvck up, made a move and taken her away from her friends for a quiet drink together, just the two of you, and then venue changed from there.

If she was into you, then she would have ended up in your bed in no time.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I don't think all is lost yet. Maybe, but you should find out and see. Get her back to your place for a "date" and close the deal. If she doesn't want to show to your place, you have your answer.
