I live in Atlanta and that area is pretty nice out there. Theories? Drug deal gone bad seems the most likely culprit, but these two were supposedly pretty good students. What makes well-to-do suburbans do this? Or was it thugs out for some sort of revenge?

Kind of hard to watch the news these days.

The thugs you find in the ghetto have absolutely no business in suburban areas, unless it's drug related. Drugs being sold in richer areas is not uncommon and most people, like naive middle class high schoolers, don't exactly know what really goes on behind the drug trade.

Suspect has been caught and arrested. His name is Jeffery Hazelwood.

The chief said cellphone records from various phones were crucial in identifying Hazelwood as the suspect. He also mentioned messaging apps on cellphones as being useful in the investigation.

In a post 17 weeks ago, he said, "Why the (expletive) should i live? Cant do (expletive) right. All i do is hurt everybody even the one i love more than my own life and i swore to never hurt. Im beyond (expletive). Theres no one left."

Other postings and photos contain messages about Hazelwood’s girlfriend. According to address records, it was this woman's family home that was searched Wednesday within hours of Hazelwood’s arrest, though Roswell police declined to say what type of evidence, if any, may have been found.
