"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I've done so many wrong things with this one that Karma ...:kick:

For reference see my "I did good post".

Ok so after taking a long break from the game I set up what is my 1st First date in some time. But it was doomed from the get go.

Problem 1

This girls cousin is visiting from out of town for the holiday weekend. I like a fool keep the date and let her cousin ( a guy) tag along.

Problem 2

She's late as her and her cousin were at a casino earlier that day. We had already set up a time to meet up. This just keeps getting worse.

Problem 3

The guy is very clingy as he's from out of town and doesn't know anyone. I kept trying to introduce him to girls, while trying to get to know the girl I'm out with. He is very picky about the girls I point out, but at least he tries to do some approaches. But it's this chicks family member and as you can assume their were some akward moments. Actually there was a good point to his presence as he told me that his cousin was really into me...

Problem 4

I drank too much, I think...more on that in a few.

Problem 5

None of us can agree on where to go so we bar hop a bunch and we can't find a place that isn't blasting music. Conversation was tough but it led to tons of kino, which was a good thing.

Problem 6

She can't stay out for long because she has some school function thing to attend in the morning....not that that worked for her cause we were out together until at least 1:30 from what I remember.

Now to the real kicker for the evening....See problem 4....

I don't think that I had really drank that much. 1 big margarita, 2 jack and cokes and 2 shots of patron....but at the last bar.....I'm almost positive there was something in my drink. I really doubt my date would drug me, but it is a possiblity I'm concidering. That or someone was trying to give her a little something and I got it instead. The last things I remember were dancing with my date....she was getting all hot rubbin my head ( the big one not the little one ), my chest, grabbin my but. I'm pretty sure we started kissing, then I remember getting into an argument (I think) but from there my memory is gone. The next thing I know I'm walking up to some party where I see this girl I had gone home with on Wed night. Then I remember walking and realizing that I'm on the complete other side of town from the last bar I was at and I have no idea how I got there or where I was going...I got lucky and flagged down a cab and got my ass home safely. I checked myself in the morning to see if I had gotten beat up or something but no marks. My head was killing me but I wasn't hung over hurtin, this was different.

Lots of drunk dialing was going on too as I was walking and trying to figure out what had happened to me. If I only knew what I said....oh boy it could be bad. My roommate remembers hearing me calling the girl I was out with. I don't know if I was leaving messeges or what. Also the girl from Wed tried calling me at some point and my phone even shows that I tried calling her too...no clue if we spoke or what....Hope I wasn't crossing up names and calling one girl the other girls name....

And to make it worse, for myself that is, I called my date when I woke up to see what happened. She was busy so we didn't talk for long. She didn't seem very annoyed, angry, upset or whatever that the end of our night went all chaotic.I think she even mentioned getting together again, I can't remember. With all that happened to me I don't know what to make of it all?

This girl is way fly and seemed to be interesting and very interested in me....I'm really hoping that something comes from this, but with a first date like that I'm having my doubts.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I wasn't very drunk until that last drink...Everything is clear up until that point....thus the whole ideal of something in my drink...

I've done enough drinking in my time to know when I should stop or if I've had too much to communicate properly.....But this was different.

hm..

Yes things could have gone a little more smoothly, but the fact that she was patient and you guys danced and did kino is a good sign that even through all the circumstances she was still in the mood. Most girls will find any small excuse to not have fun or to ruin a date if they arent feeling you.

She could have said no because just of the school thing, "I'll be too tired blah blah" or that "My cousins in town I want to spend time alone andshow him a good time"

But she stuck around, and you went and had fun, and maybe she might thing your a wild character, and that see's you as a challenge and that she will try to calm you down, maybe she will like you even more..

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
