"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

One more chick, one more story...:

met this 18 years old chick two nights ago. I danced with her we talked briefly, she seemed into me, etc.
Before she left, she came to say good-bye.

Since she is friend's with a friend of mine, I looked her up on FB, and added her. I initiated a conversation today via chat, and in the middle of the conversation she liked my profile picture so I took it as a good sign, and after a bit of rapport I got her number and texted her to suggest to meet next Monday for a drink, to what she replied (I know I should have offered two days, but I forgot):

her: "could you text me on Monday? I may have band practise in the evening but they will confirm it in the morning :)"

me: "we can meet some other day if it is better. Ok, talk to you soon!"
her:" :) "

I was thinking that I will either text her on Monday evening to set something for Tuesday or Wednesday (whenever she's free), or I will go no contact and see if she initiates.

Opinions?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

1) Never leave it up to the female to "let you know." If you provide a day and she says she might be busy, then you say "ok then how about Thursday?" Remember YOU are the one that is opening up your schedule to fit her in. Not the other way around.

It is always better to "force" her to make definite plans with you with a time and place so you aren't sitting there waiting for that day to roll around wondering if she is going to hang with you. If a female keeps giving you the I don't know excuses you push for plans. "Okay well I have a busy schedule and the only day I can do it would be Friday after 6pm. Does that work?" If she gives you excuses she is not that interested, and you can move on with out having to worry about will she go out with you as the day gets closer.

2) Because she is 18. I would wait to see if she hits you up. If she is interested SHE will hit you up. If you don't hear from her drop a text confirming to get together.

3) Stop thinking.

Remember a woman who is interested in you will make plans with you, move her schedule around for you, make time for you even for an hour if she is busy.

i seriously wish that you would start dating her and will see that it is not easy to deal with young (and unexperienced?) girls..
i like your reply. I would probably wait until the end of the WORK week and ask her out. If she texts first, that's great (obviously).

Yeah, what Spiegel549 said. Avoid leaving it up to the woman to decide or "get back to you". I'm not saying she won't but most of the time they don't. If she's really interested in you though, she will.

so today I bumped into her in a salsa club. I did not know she was going to be there. ANyway, I was friendly and funy, talked to her for 5 minutes or so. She said I was funy, and tried to grab my necklace asking me what it meant etc.

I went there with a female friend of mine, and she was there with a guy friend of hers that was hugging her all the time...
The thing is, that after a couple of hours, I saw that she was hugging another dude, caressing her neck etc, and he was doing the same, so I thought they are 'together' or have some history. I did not see them kiss but...
It seems she has a lot of male friends, btw.

This has twisted a bit my initial plan of action cause if she is seing some dude Im not interested although I think she likes me.
After what I saw today I think that I may just say nothing to her tomorrow MOnday (she told me to text her to see if she had band practise or not so we could meet), and text her maybe on Wednesday (letting some time go by to see if she initiates) to arrange something.

Opinions?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
