"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

1 song to pump you up. What would it be?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Megalomaniac by KMFDM really brings out the inner assh*le in me. Do not dare to listen to it with pathetic laptop speakers or meek iPod earbuds.

I've noticed that sh*t like Linkin Park, Fort Minor, and most rock are the musical choice of frustrated beta schlubs. I should know; I used to be one, and that music had a certain appeal. Now it reeks of sexual frustration and unwarranted aggression caused by lack of direction and purpose in life. And hip-hop (mostly, with few exceptions) reeks of ignorant self-destructive materialism that makes me despise and yet pity those who listen to it.

Or maybe I'm just an assh*le. Whatever.

Lol..honestly I find rap being too goofy/displayin you have a chip on your shoulder but there are occasional songs that catch my eye (or ear whatever.) because of its lyrics. Such as the first one, the chorus reminds me of the shvt I've been through and how it would go to waste if I give up now.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I personally find it extremley stupid and out of place when people say things like "This band is for beta's. Sports are for alphas." etc. Gross generalizations are for the beta minded, if anything.

Not sure who Fort Minor is(I'd prob know some songs) but I actually like Linkin Park a lot, the older stuff mainly. If you were looking for a misplaced aggression song, look no further than Limp Bizkit "Break Stuff."

Check this track out, you might like it. Starts kicking in at about 1:00 onwards:

Young Jeezy ft. Kanye West - Put On vs DJ Shadow ft. Q-Tip & Lateef - Enuff
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLpZtc8Nco8

Put On sounds completely different

Well, I absolutely love the original song, so it was more of a tease for me lol. And I don't like the over-DJed type sound so much. I know that is the point of that game, but that's not something I would just listen to.

Pretty much anything by Queen puts me in the mood to knock down doors and go pick up chicks.

Kinda ironic really.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
