your thought on mike tyson coming back

In a sense. Holyfield did what Holyfield always did, led with his head. However, Tyson headbutted too, and began their first fight by punching Holyfield after the bell. It was retaliation but not righteous retaliation. I personally believe Tyson is somewhere "on the spectrum" and they (we?)...

your thought on mike tyson coming back

Oh, and he was dirty as hell. Not that Tyson wasn't but people knew that and commented on it at the time. Holyfield got away with it for most of his career.

your thought on mike tyson coming back

A couple things, he was probably a PED user, that move up from cruiser to heavy was aided and the hole in his heart i mentioned might have been because of his usage. He always portrayed himself as a pious man but he had dozen kids from multiple women while he was married. I wish I could find the...

your thought on mike tyson coming back

Incredible talent, had it all to be it all. But was lacking the will and the mindset.

your thought on mike tyson coming back

Holyfield had been in WARS prior to fighting Tyson with better opponents and had a hole in his heart. Holyfield was always tougher than Tyson.

your thought on mike tyson coming back

I got Holyfield and Lewis ahead of him. In his brief and spotty prime, maybe even Bowe. Guys who weren't scared of Tyson scared Tyson.

your thought on mike tyson coming back

Men of a certain age (mine, give or take a few) are very, very gay for Tyson. He was already shot at the twilight of his career, didn't have anything for Lewis, Holyfield, or the couple of never-weres who knocked him out at the end. Imagine what 15 years of ring rust has caused. He's not coming...

    Reopening America

I will be staying the fvck home. Might as well get practice for our next lockdown.

    COVID is a lie.

S/S: Shortness of breath, fever, Pulse ox<95, sometimes much lower, high WBC count, low heme TX: We put them on O2 and, if possible, in the prone position. They were all transferred to the hospital but due to space they were all sent back if they were not on ventilators. Age: 75+ Vent: They are...

    COVID is a lie.

I've watched a half-dozen people die from Covid-19 and see more people in my facility get it every day. It's not a lie. It's very real and deserves to be treated as such. If left to work it's way through our society unobstructed it will kill many more people AND the economy which cannot handle...

    Prison Are Revealing Covid-19 Facts

Prisons are younger demographically than America as a whole so I could see how there would be a lower infection casualty rate and more asymptomatic cases. Plus prisons lie. As someone who worked in one don't make policy from what you hear from a prison. Verify everything.

    More protests against lockdown

This is pretty cool. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8235127/Defiant-healthcare-workers-clash-anti-lockdown-protesters-Colorado.html Quiet. Dignified. And not a confederate flag in sight.

    More protests against lockdown

I respect the right to protest, appreciate it even. But they should really be wearing masks. I realize it defeats their purpose and their point but this protest has super spreader even written all over it.

    More protests against lockdown

'Bout time. If we don't, we won't have grocery stores.

Was it worth shutting down the economy?

Empty hospitals are an overcorrection but they are also the point. I prefer them to this: https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/13/health/detroit-hospital-bodies-coronavirus-trnd/index.html

Was it worth shutting down the economy?

I've been monitoring some of the Dr chatter about coag factors when treating COVID. One of the (few) great things about social media is the wide dissmemination of information quickly and doctors on the frontlines are sharing what they've learned without the bureaucratic hurdles usually that...

Was it worth shutting down the economy?

Although I'm impressed with the sheer amount and speed of data we have gotten for COVID-19 and the ability and willingness of scientists to share info. If any disease is ever the outlier for scientific discovery it might be this one

Was it worth shutting down the economy?

The vaccine is a long way off. A lockdown like we have now is needed to stabilize the situation but it's untenable for the year or likely more that it will take to have a vaccine.

Was it worth shutting down the economy?

If COVID-19 was allowed to run rampant over the United States imagine the destruction on healthcare, supply lines, commerce, etc. The answer is nobody really knows what the alternative is, I can easily imagine an economic destruction model happening without the lockdowns as well. At best I hope...
