Well, there are women who are receptive to your advances, and then there are women who had the idea first. Two different situations.

Let’s pretend a woman is talking to two different guys during the beginning phase. She is blowing up guy As phone, initiating conversations, initiating meeting up, being responsive to his texts, and etc. Meanwhile, guy B is having to put in 80% of the effort, she is responding to his texts slower, dates with him are second priority, and etc. Depending on guy Bs looks and timing, he might get sex, but as soon as Guy A commits she’s done.

My husband has had that experience many times where an attractive girl propositioned him at the end of the night at a club (for example)....and walks up and says "I'm going where you are going...." Getting sex was super easy for him, but sex ain't the whole enchilada.

Line 1: True, but I am older now so not the 20 somethings anymore (although they will double-take still).

Line 2: True

Line 3: Was true when we dated & orginally married. Over time he let himself go physically and has aged substantially and developed a beer belly. He definately hit the wall along the way so hot girls do not pay much attention to him anymore. He also is horseshoe bald now which doesn't help, and he needs to whiten his teeth & address halitosis at a dentist.

Line 4: My son is very handsome, yes, and very fit, although he is only 5'8". He had one cute LTR early in highschool. That ended his junior year (11th grade, age 16) and he started dating his now wife. Yes many girls showed attraction to him, but he was always committed to the woman he married once they got together. His wife is a pretty girl and embodies all the things the guys here value. She was also a virgin.

I think that the obsession of men with the guy that women will just throw themselves to him that aggressively is mainly just an obsession, because guys rarely will play forward with a girl where is a big gap in terms of smv

I think even in 2026 most men wouldn't be able to pull it off with a chick who has a lower SMV, the plight of sexlessness with modern men is that bad
