Hi everyone! Johnny here.

I've honestly lost count of how many times I've experienced this.
Looking back, I've noticed a recurring pattern in my dating life. In my personal experience, some women who weren't particularly interested in me at first suddenly became interested once I started receiving recognition or public attention.
It made me wonder why this happens... even if that could be obvious.

One thing I've observed is that social media has become a kind of "status radar."
Women pay attention to who's gaining visibility, recognition, or influence. Whether it's through social media, local newspapers, television, sports, business success, or community achievements, public recognition.
But, there is a key difference in how men and women approach success.

Many men focus primarily on the process. If a man wants to become a professional football player, he doesn't start by dreaming about newspaper headlines or television interviews. He trains every day, improves his skills, competes, and works toward becoming better. Recognition is a byproduct of the effort, not the goal itself.

In contrast, I've sometimes felt that certain women focus much more on the outcome than on the work behind it. They seem attracted to the visibility, success, or social status, without necessarily appreciating the years of discipline and sacrifice that made those achievements possible. I've seen this happen several times.

For example, one of my relatives became successful in business, and during that period his partner loved appearing in public with him, posting pictures together, and mentioning him frequently. When his business later struggled, you can imagine her being so passive / turned off by him.

I've noticed similar situations elsewhere. Whenever a man started receiving public recognition, winning competitions, being featured in local news, getting attention within his community, or becoming professionally successful, women who had previously shown little interest often reappeared. It felt as though they had been quietly keeping track of his progress and only reached out once they perceived that his status had increased.

Let's say Kate is married to John, but Kate had interest in many guys back than, so she still get updates from Nick, Jack, Claude, etc...
Nick won first place for his MotoGP tournament, and She see a pic of him in TV, holding the throphy near two beautiful women. You can imagine that Kate will go straight into Nick dm's. She doesn't care about John.
But this is not to say that Kate is not in love or that doesn't respect John.
Kate is a woman and she had that biological urge to contact Nick because of his success.

At first, I assumed this was something limited to people with unhealthy personalities.
But I may be wrong.

As an artist, I've experienced this firsthand. When my work is exhibited, when I sell artwork to influential collectors, or when I appear in newspapers or on television, I receive noticeably more attention from women. Some women from my past usually contact me again after years of silence.

GIven this, I think it's important for men not to lose sight of what actually matters: the process.
Recognition comes and goes. Public attention fades. Success isn't permanent.
The work, the discipline, and the personal growth are the only things we truly control. If we become too focused on chasing attention or validation, we risk losing the very mindset that created success in the first place.

But, this actually tell how women see it: they like winners, not because the hard work they put in, just because of the result. Just because they can be with him in that moment, enjoy that emotions and celebrate.

I'm curious to hear other people's experiences.

EVERYONE prefers to be affliliated with someone who's "gained recognition", especially if said recognition is wider-spread than JLaw's legs and ass cheeks were, the moment she walked into Weinstein's office, desperate for a short cut to The A List. The company of someone who appears to be moving forward is preferable to someone who's either downwardly mobile or stagnant

Different types of recognition are alluring to different types of operators though, thus it's prudent to be conscious of what your goals, values, and desires are. The planet is currently overflowing with folks who've achieved fame and fortune by behaving like incurable numbskulls, both on camera and in their personal lives... Not surprisingly, such folks generally attract exploiters into their orbit

Men, in particular, have to be highly wary of allowing rapacious women into our lives, the further up the proverbial ladder we ascend

Im looking for an artist for some serious work( for me that is ). Let's talk about that .

On topic; its simple bro. How you get her will almost always the only to keep her.

You gother through status? The only way to keep her is by maintaining and sometimes even expanding that status.

Same goes for money, fame, charm, looks, etc.

Women are our barometer. Ruthless but yet honestly they will be a reflection of how we thrive or struggle in life( no in between). And you can't blame them; our (un) consious primitive law of attraction means her beauty = a man's status, fame, skills that make him stand out, ect charm and looks are immediately less easy to grasps....

and lets be real ( yOu got a woman because you had money for example So you KNOW that if you lose that somehow she will go as well..you gotta be a fool to believe anything else ..

Thats why imo you need to build a solid foundation for YOURSELF what exists out of solid assets ,skills and connections. It helps attracting women or even keeping women that will be easier to deal with...

I agree with that ^^. How you got with her is the best way to keep her. The most oft thing I'll repeat is "If you want to avoid the dreaded 'you're not the man I _____d!' (married, dated, etc...), then you should NOT stop being who you wanted to be or living the lifestyle that you chose to live. It causes her to question your integrity and your tenacity. Your very character is suspect. Even if she isn't cognitively aware of it and it is instinctual.

Women often give subtle communications to such things. She isn't sending "mixed" signals, you're mixing up her signals. If she's distancing herself or coming across as 'colder', that's precisely what it is. She IS colder and she HAS become more distant. Look inward. What changed? And if it wasn't YOU that changed, what in your environment changed? A newborn? Did you move in together? Did you propose? A friend overstepping his bounds making eyes that she reciprocates? Maybe she started a part time 'fun' job? Nothing wrong with these things per se, but it changes your dynamic.

Further, to quote from a book "Women don't 'build' with a man or watch him train for the race. They wait at the finish line and bang the winners."

its hard wired. when a challenger takes control of the herd the females stay with the winner. this stuff is all hard wired, on both men and women side. best you can do is understand it and work within the framework. Disney and even churches try hard to tell a different story.
almost never or never, do women drop a man when he is moving up. they drop him when he is dipping down and or a challenger appears. again, women are predictable. even celebrity... its when he is plateau or challengers arrive, and win.... at any level win/lose is still win/lose.

often you will find that women will start your conflicts for you and guide you into them. they want you to fight... and win..

there is a common drum beat to this... the drive for a man to move up is mostly chemical....

I'm looking for an artist for serious work (for me, that is). Let's talk.
Write to me privately.

How you win her is almost always the only way to keep her.

Women are our barometer. Ruthless, but honest, they will reflect our success or our struggles in life (there's no middle ground). And you can't blame them;
This could be added to the Bible!

Also, to quote a book: "Women don't 'build' with a man or watch him train for the race. They wait at the finish line and sleep with the winners."
Yes, as a man, I always wonder what they feel "after" the event, "after" the emotions of having been with a winner. You can only win "sometimes," not "always." What happens when you're still the winner, but the effect wears off? (Hedonic Treadmill)

You'll often find that women will initiate your conflicts and lead you through them. They want you to fight... and win...
What did I mean by that? Could you elaborate?

I'd think that when a committed woman is infatuated with another man and starts monkeybranching, she'd do all those things we know, but she'd actually do it to leave the man, not to guide him to become better than the challenger.

So your paintings with giant question marks are done in the style of Andy Warhol's OP?
Realism
