I like the above. It is very true to the word. I didn't learn from my previous year's mistakes: I went with it, moved quickly but then it fizzled away or the things I ignored about women at first became something bigger that I did not like.

That one statement makes the fear of turning 40 a moot point. List the things you have to do to not feel this and 40 will be a milestone, not a turning point.

This is a very good point. No wonder we guys have to tune out women. If you are dealing with this all the time with one woman what is there to do? Move on?

She sounds very unprofessional and bad for your job. Be careful there. In another environment, I would advise you game her. There is interest, and from experience, you can go far if you call her $hit tests and don't break your confidence. In the end though these games are more an aggravation...

It was a bait and switch...plus if the sex part was the plus and now you have to converse, and that's not so hot...then it's time to move on.

I'm in the midst of a breakup and let me tell you that from the very start I go in saying that if it's going to break up, don't go back. This is in a situation where I am being played, being lied to and if there are personality differences.
