Recently the advice about getting married pops back up. There's a combination of married members, a couple of dreamers and perhaps some desperate incels who promote marriage like its all kumbaya and peace and love.

This is part of the capitulation of the manospere/redpill!

On reddit the redpill is banned for many years. Mind you, every sick form of porn or politics is allowed but you can't say anything about ill dating dynamics, female nature ect. Sosuave is the last beacon where the truth is allowed t9 be told, and yet even here we see the marriage simps coming out in full force. There's a reason why veterans like yours truly warn you about marriage, cohabitation, kids or any form of large investment in women.

---------------------------------------------------------------
Why you shouldn't get married

Succesful and unsuccessfull marriage is like black and white on the colour spectrum; completely different and yet extremely close basically, next to one another( if you know you know the colour analogy)

- marriage is the ultimate reward for both a man and a woman who are loyal, loving, amd ofcourse attracted to one another.

- but modern marriage is also the ultimate escape for weak men. The doubling/ tripling down on an already difficult woman.
---------------------------------------------------------------

Why you shouldn't get married
Fellas. I've been with over 200 women, and if there's one thing I've learned is that women can and oftentimes will change up on you. Of she does, you gotta be able to pivot and leave.

Marriage also has this" invincible layer" that has the OPPOSITE effect of what beta men believe it will have; it will NOT magically make a woman submit but quite the opposite..it will ( or might) make her feel imprisoned.

I have no idea why all of a sudden we went from a seduction forum to R/ relationship and we give out the most basic ,normie beta advice there is. If anything, a DON JUAN is EXTREMELY reluctant to get married even if its just because of the many new p00sy he's about to get in the future.

Don't listen to the adviceto pursue marriage. Stay free, flexible and be the master of your own life. Don't let a woman " little brother" you into a manic depression just so you can impress people you don't know .

-

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I'm engaged and will go thru with marriage.

It's cool if it's not for you. There's good reasons to stay single.

But being forever single ain't for me. I'm not gonna be in my 50s and 60s and still "opening sets" and "trying out openers". That is seriously freaking sad.

Oh yes you will. I bet the farm you will be opening sets and trying cute openings in your 50s. Better stay in shape so you stand a change...

Can you tell me what's sad about it? So a man who comes out of a 30 year marriage at 50 and wants his d1ck wet is now a sad man? Or a 50 y.o man who worked hard his entire life and now after winning in life attracts baddies ranging from 20 to lets say 50 is also sad?

Disney fairytale much? I can smell your scarcity through my phone screen and it stinks...

By the way;why are you even here or this forum? Just curious...as it seems that seddit would be a waaaay better fit for you.

Marriage makes sense, IF a man and a woman

-Have produced offspring

-Built a life together

-Enjoy what's essentially a strong buisness partnership

-Legitimately find one another's company invigorating, most of the time anyway

Securing a union like this requires that a fella engage in heavy deliberation, BEFORE he agrees to wife a chick up... Sadly, most of us expend more energy on mulling over whether or not to order The Blooming Onion at Outback than we do reflecting upon the degree to which those we allow into our lives align with our mission. And that's just if we've even written out a mission statement for ourselves to begin with

Thus, many marriages collapse before they've even really begun, and millions more still are the sort of suburban sh-tholes that've long been satirized in fiction

I think this point is spot on. Most divorces can be predicted long before the groom and bride ever say, "I do." What I don't buy is the doomer narrative pushed by many single or divorced men in the manosphere that your marriage is essentially doomed from the start. More often than not, when people share these marriage horror stories, you're only hearing one side of the story. There's usually far more context than what's being presented. I already know two reasons off the top of my head why my marriage would head towards divorce, and "hypergamy" isn't one of them.

@CornbreadFed EVERYTHING is "doomed from the start", in that all of existence is a constant cycle of death and rebirth. Marriages either

-Run their course, end in divorce. After which, both parties will embark on different adventures

Or

-Someone in the pairing expires/On rare occasions both spouses croak simultaneously. Since energy never dies(It only changes form), the dead here will metamorphize into seperate entities, while the living will take up with that 19 year old Starbucks barista he's been making eyes at for the past few months/Pull the cabana boy into her bed, while the rest of the planet shouts "Go cougars!!!" from the sidelines

Being doomed doesn't automatically equate to "gloom"

marriage could be wonderful. usually it is not. if there is enough options, usually women and men can not or will not hold to the promises. its not a problem with women, its a problem with humans, and that includes women. its one of those things where the journey is better than the destination.

if you try out 100 women, it gets difficult to feel like any one of those is special. same for women. the truth is that most women have a higher count than most men. its due to the 80/20 rules. there are a few men with very high counts, most men is much smaller and usually single digits. its difficult to really have proof and most women lie about it being smaller, and most men lie about it being larger.

marriage works in seclusion, but not in a crowd.

many or most men end up cheating at some point or at several times. they are out of the house in the world doing.... things. opportunity and options appear. if women also are out of the house usually for work, kids activities, social groups, then the same opportunity and options appear. can they say no... do you say no when a great option appears.....

women get higher quality options when in the world then men do. the top 20% of men want to try them out. men don't get that unless they are in the top group. women that are above the lower 20% have opportunity waiting in line if they are out and about.
men that are lower than top 20% have to hunt. this is one of the fundamental reasons more women file divorce. they have options, the men usually have no visible options and want to stay constant.

there is math and science and social proof that backs it all up.
again, marriage could/should be wonderful; it just doesn't work out that way. there are some moments in time when it is working, those moments will pass. things will happen, you will lose a job, or lose a contest, or get sick, or you don't change at all and next door a better man moves in....

for men that need to try marriage themself, the advice is to keep your options open. never close the door on your options. your wife will want you to close those doors, while telling you something different. you also will want to as you can finally relax and by happy with what you have.... in that moment the end is started. if you had no options, how do you know you made a good choice....

I know men who are in their 40s and 50s who married their first and second gf’s, highschool or college sweethearts, and all is well. No smorgasbord required.

Your posts have been on fire lately, sir...take my measly likes

I don't have much to add on but I think marriage in a Godly household(meaning a foundation in Christ) is great for civilization; everyone always talks about the state of modern marriage and will say it's because of feminism, immigration, cost of living, etc. While all these reasons are factors and true. People refuse to acknowledge the biggest reason. Once society started to take God out of households and schools, society started to decline fast.

Something I've noticed that some Red Pill creators refuse to acknowledge is this:

1. You picked the wrong woman.

It could have been based on lust. It could have been because you were naive, tired, or desperate.

I know men who married the first woman who stuck around. Not everyone has the energy to approach hundreds of women or spend years swiping on dating apps and going on countless dates. It becomes exhausting, and eventually some men settle for a woman they have no business settling for, hoping she'll change.

More often than not, she changes...just not for the better.

2. Some men are responsible for their marriages failing.

Whether it was infidelity, being emotionally unavailable, failing to provide financially, or simply neglecting the relationship, not every man who claims to be the victim actually is.

One lesson I've learned is that there are always two sides to every story. I remember one content creator constantly complaining that his wife divorced him. Later, it came out that he was lazy and contributed significantly to the breakdown of the marriage.

Accountability goes both ways. Some women absolutely destroy marriages, but some men do too. Pretending otherwise doesn't help anyone.

@Solomon "Once society started to take God out of households and schools, society started to decline fast"

All the data I've read indicates most folks here in The US still believe in some Divine Force. Curious as to what bearing immigration has on whether or not citizens remain married

I'm not one to belive that Immigration affects marriage but the argument is that immigrants take away jobs form nationals, and thus making a group of men (nationals) unattractive for marriage...I see the point but I don't agree with it

Hispanic and white are the most common interracial couples in the US right now.

And has been for awhile. Mestizos are, by definition, admixtures of Western Europeans and Amer-Indians

Similar to instances of folks who are convicted of a crime they weren't guilty of. The Court mishandled the case, great... Also true, most of the time anyway:

The wrongfully convicted person was engaged in a lifestyle that was either criminalistic/disreputable, or at the very least one which went out of it's way to demonstrate how different they are from "the norm", thus ensuring that their protestations of innocence wouldn't be taken seriously

NONE of us mere mortals are naturally predisposed towards wondering out loud: "Even if the other party was objectively turdy, did some of my own decisions essentially pour kerosene onto a brush fire?"

Most men with game, an understanding of female psychology (red pilled) and the ability to attract women will find it very difficult to commit to one woman and be genuinely happy for long periods of time.

I think the most these type of men can aim for in the long run is contentment rather than happiness, as there will always be some form of frustration, regret or resentment for sacrificing their sexual freedom for family, stability etc. And many will eventually end up cheating in some form anyway.

It’s actually the blue pilled, plugged in simps with an absence of game, personality, looks and/or status who have more chance of being genuinely happy with one woman. At least until she drags him through the divorce or separation meat grinder.

Marriage in the way we ONCE understood it is "dying out", in the same way The US cinema industry is in it's "death throes":

Whereas technology has made it increasingly easy for filmmakers to profitably operate outside of Hollywood, more and more folks have gotten wise to what D. Stanhope

And many others https://reason.com/2017/10/21/getting-the-state-out-of-marri/ have noticed about the about the manner in which we currently practice marriage
