actually, based on the economist stat, marriages where women are taller happen less likely than predicted, and the same where the husband is taller with more than 8 inches than the wife

very likely this means that height is an “advantage “ till like 6’2’’ assuming that we talk about women who have the average height of 5’4’’

also based on these stats we can assume that even if you are an average guy in terms of height , height should not be really an issue if you talk with women that are average in height or bellow

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Similar to being pleasing to the eye, a fella's height has is simultaneously a blessing and a curse:

Same way if you're handsome yet desire true companionship, you'll have to frequently demonstrate that you're not just a Himbo of f-ckboy
Oh yes what a curse, you're so good looking that you have to prove to women that you're going to be loyal to them. i'm sure that ugly 5'4 indian man who has to become the top 0.001% of men to get a crumb of pvssy is glad he is not cursed with being a 6'3 Chad.

Two guys that are an exact replica of one another but one is 5 10 and the other is 6 4. If you think the 5 10 guy wins then you are naive.
exactly.

people are always coping about this. "oh I know a short guy who slays". Ok? there are people with downs syndrome who can live independently, and people who are crippled who can become olympic athletes. what's your point?

just because people can do well in SPITE of their disadvantage, doesn't mean that disadvantages are irrelevant. imagine how much better they'd do if they DIDN'T have these disadvantages! imagine all the other people in their shoes who tried just as hard (if not harder) and failed? when do we hear about them? the answer is never, they're forgotten by the history books and no one will know they ever existed.

this is survivorship bias in a nutshell. in the case of success with women, people always conveniently leave out the little detail where most disadvantaged men (short, bald, ugly, etc) NEVER have any success with women despite their efforts. we continually draw examples out of the outliers and act like because anyone can do it, everyone can. that's not how it works. not everyone can be exceptional. if everyone was exceptional, no one would be.

it is quite literally a cope to not acknowledge the reality that some people are simply dealt a better hand in life. people just cannot accept it, they act like being born lucky must come with a catch, that these people are going to "get their comeuppance". they go on to claim that life is about how you play the hand you were dealt, when in reality it's much more harsh: you are the hand you were dealt.

now this isn't to say you should be fatalistic and defeatest; after all your only choice is to try your best and not let these become self-limiting beliefs. but to pretend that none of this **** matters is incredibly naive and idealistic. life isn't fair. some people are just born lucky and their whole life is nothing but layups. there's no "karma" or curveball that is owed to them, their life is literally just better. if people think that everyone gets their comeuppance, that no one gets a free ride, i'd love to hear the justification for the millions of kids every year who die of famine, disease, war, or illness before they're even 10 years old. how is that fair? it's simply not fair - there's no lesson here, and there's no such thing as karma.

The sort of man you describe there is frequently seen as a more viable candidate for LTRs by the ladies, especially once he's got a few bucks in his pocket. If a man is matinee idol handsome and in the market for something more than brief flings and ONSs though, he'd best be prepared to demonstrate that he's more than a callow f-ckboy

It's no mere fluke that neither Hoyt Richards nor Tyson Beckford(neither of whom are gay, apparently anyway)ever married, and that Sean O'Pry appears as if he might also be destined for a lifetime of bachelorhood. The number of both current and former hearthrobs in cinema and music who were unable to hold down LTRs number in the billions*, meanwhile the Wallace Shawns and John Carrol Lynch's of the worlds have been happily married for several decades now. On a man, beauty can, in one sense, be as much a curse as it is blessing

*Even the most confident gal on Earth gets exasperated, after the 100,000,000,000,000,000th instance of another woman attempting to horn in on her man, while she's standing less than 2 feet away. Begins thinking to herself: "Long-term, Ephialtes may be a more shrewd investment than Adonis"

I’m 5’6 and have attracted women all of my life. To ask if height is the most important thing is like asking are tits the most important thing. Some guys like booty. Some guys like a cute face over everything. If height was the end all be all, the worlds average height for men wouldn’t be 5’7. Through evolutionary biology, the average height of men would be 6’ feet tall because all men shorter would have been weeded out of existence.

Tom Cruise can probably have sex with billions of women. What does this tell you? It tells you status is the most important factor.

And we’ve all been to high school right? Don’t we all know that 1 guy who’s not good looking, not tall, possibly even ugly but he’s popular and somehow banging all the hot chicks. I knew plenty of guys like that growing up.

Add to that: Tits are of no value, if the possessor boasts the face and mouth of a Leslie Jones or Melissa McCarthy. Height similarly wouldnt've been of much benefit to say, Jeremy Meeks

If he were morbidly obese, outfitted with a mug caked over with lacerations, and incapable of stringing together complete sentences/expressing coherent thoughts

This is a sensible take.. I feel like 20 short guys getting together and discussing their dating experiences would be an interesting dynamic...

I know one chap.. 32 ish now, about 5ft5 who for whatever reason simply didn't make any progress ever. Which i find sad, as he never helped himself and his 'hang up' made him ultimately 'that short guy'. Which in a way is half society's fault, but the needle doesn't move itself.. You have to dig deep and believe in yourself, even when you don't. Turn up, dress in a way that suits your physique and be present and make people laugh. But if the inner game is beyond repair, not sure what helps...

I punched around and a fair few times above my weight through night game, ONS, social circle and once or twice OLD (i do not recommend the latter). And as a 5'4 dude with medium to.slim build and ok looks i feel relatively happy with that..
Approaching I do find different, and ultimately harder still, as being shorter is always going to be polarising to some woman you encounter. I think a jacked dude, who's 6'1 and ugly/unfashionable, has more chance of a positive greeting than a 5'5 dude with looks and good dress sense.. But with some work and decent charisma. I still think its possible.

You need to be not fat plus handsome to absolutely kill it, being tall and fat is gross, tall and ugly but in shape... you can still get something nice, tall fat and ugly... you're just an ogre.

I have a friend who is 6'6 he was always reasonably in shape and facially not ugly, 6 or 7/10, well groomed. He cleaned up despite being low iq and not going to gym.

Height does a lot of heavy lifting and it takes 0 effort, being fat or ugly is a tough one to overcome and you need money or status (confidence/charm byproduct of status)

I did laugh to myself the other day..I still very occasionally have a look on One OLD platform..just to kill time... usually with no results there was a lady on there..who to be kind...was 3 looks wise..and rather overweight... and she suggested she was looking for a pretty, tall and charming guy to enter her life.. I'd be intrigued to know what she'd think, if she stumbled across a very average looking giys profile...and he required a 'hot slim chick with a good ass'
