I just joined this forum for the Wealth and Success discussion.

I find myself with a lot of free time, so I thought I'd share the lessons I learned as an entrepreneur. I'm in my mid-40s and have started about a dozen businesses in the past 20 years. Some were hits, some were good, others failed. My hope is that these posts will INFORM and INSPIRE men here to "build their kingdom", as I call it.

Honestly, I don't expect much of a reaction from my posts. It wouldn't surprise me if they come and go without much notice. But I'm doing it because I KNOW A LOT and I want to see others profit from my knowledge. So I at least feel a responsibility as a altruist to make the information available to those who might benefit from it.

If you're an entrepreneur (or anyone else this kind of material may interest), please introduce yourselves below. My hope is to have some good constructive discussions where real RESULTS are produced in your lives.

It is a solid way to get capital built without barrow or partner. If you already have the mental tools and capital then its easier to follow good advice. If from the streets or fields getting capital is needed.

In terms of money, deciding what you want your ideal lifestyle to be, then coming up with the money to fund it. That's it.

You know, it's probably been decades. But I remember at the time of the reading, I would have recommended it, and I think I even did. Unfortunately, I don't remember the message much now. Maybe if my copy surfaces in my books, I'll give it another read.

I meant to offense by that comment. If you would read my posts in the wealth forum, you'll see I'm talking about something very specific. When I say "kingdom", I talking about building a network of people around yourself as the leader. That's my message. Check them out and tell me what you think.

It's the only upward mobility I see. Employing others to do the trade is an obvious required step. But you have to learn to do the job before you can employ someone to work for you doing that job.

That's what the E-myth Revisited pretty much suggests verbatim. It speaks of three positions and three transitions. Technician is whoever does the work, manager is who ensures things are done the same way each time, operator is the one who owns the business and ensures that it is being managed/operated as intended.

Does the book Think and Grow Rich still offer good advice? Hey you need a job and learn how to make good investments in the stock market.
