Would not be surprized if over half of those guys were framed for crimes they did not commit from a racist cops trying to meet their arrest quotas for the month. It's easy to plant drug evidence on people for them.

Even if that were literally true the amount of crime would still be disproportionate relative to their population, and it is very hard to explain away the commonplace violent offenders. It seems to be a fairly universal phenomenon too, so I’m inclined to believe police statistics over those who cry racist especially when often a knee jerk response is to riot. I don’t think blacks really regard themselves to be safe even in their own neighbourhoods; just consider the endless black on black crime.

The USA must be the worst country in the developed world when it comes to male on male rape in jail.
In fact, if you live in the USA, there is a chance you could be raped by another guy in jail even if you are innoscent.
That's because they jail people even though they are not convicted of any crime.
If you are in jail for one or two hours and you get raped, then even getting arrested and put into jail, and waiting for bail has your body at risk of being raped.
You are just seen as fresh meat.

In the USA they jail you for any stupid little thing especially if you are a visible minority or you get a cop with a bad attitude and you are at the wrong place at the wrong time.

At least in the UK people are having fun in a normal way.

How sick do you have to be for guys to rape other guys and then think they are hetrosexual too and think their victim is gay.
You can't be hetrosexual if you do that to other guys.

The USA goes breaks the lowest possible level every time when it comes to everything.

it's very odd to me why it seems to be such a common thing in the US prisons! It's like not even a 'thing' in UK prisons. Never has been. I think we only know of the reference of 'prison = getting raped' due to American Films lol. My brother has spent lots of time in lots of prison, including the ones for fairly dangerous people, and he's never heard of anything like that!

I wish @SW15 was still here (RIP), as he seemed to have a varied knowledge about all kinds of things and had a knack of explaining things and breaking them down into all kinds of sociological reasons that actually made sense

In our prisons, the 'downside' is 'it gets boring' according to my brother. People aren't $hit scared about any of it like how I guess you would be if you were going too a US prison thinking you were gonna get raped by some big g@ylord lol. It's like a boring, crappy holiday camp full of bad people. Not to say you won't get shanked with a toothbrush with a razorblade burnt into it if you upset the wrong people (or boiled sugary water thrown in your face), but it's not hard to avoid from what i'm told. And as you can see, enough of them are banging the female prison guards to keep the boredom away lol

And in other parts of Europe like some of the Scandinavian countries, it's more like a freaking hotel lol

They started with Blacks, but not they are unleasing on the white populations too. Look at what ICE is doing to Minnapolis to white people? They are called domestic terrorists. Even law enforcements that are non-white, like black and brown cops, are being harassed by ICE (ie who carried their citizenship documents these days?). Seeing that nobody is safe in the USA, I think that type of narrative is not helpful in this day and age. Tourism is down in that place since nobody wants to get hauled into an ICE detention center because they left their passport in the hotel safe.

Allot of rape happens in prison to the point it doesn't matter how their outside life is like....you really don't want to end up in jail in the first place. It doesn't matter if you have a girlfriend/wife or harum on the outside if you are getting raped by other dudes on the inside.

Maybe wearing this when taking a shower in prison would help?
