I think there used to be a lot of men that would take gals they were dating to Vegas, staying at top hotel$, going to expen$ive nightclubs, etc., as a way to flash cash - but now such men don't see the payoff, since the gals will fork Chad without him paying for anything.

I don't think people like to party like they once did. I've heard normal bars in many cities never fully recovered after covid.

Not as much throw away money these days.

There are also other Vegas casino alternatives that didn't exist years ago that are quite popular. No need to go to Vegas for the same thing when it's an easy drive.

The world economy is struggling with a cost against value dilemma

A lot of Establishments have rapidly increased prices in the last few years to try and maintain profits against inflation

The issue is the core product / service has often barely improved and in a lot of cases actually gotten a lot worse

This leaves consumers lacking any sense of achievement or value from their spending when this happens they retreat

I was recently on holiday Fijii ... it is a third world country but they have started to price it like it is the Bahamas

It was an underwhelming and disappointing experience

This is a prime example of what's going on in the world economy.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Vegas is really a canary in a coal mine.

Pretty much. Prices are going up everywhere, conspicuous consumption is collapsing, people are starting to feel more and more worried about the future.

This is the biggest reason. Inflation for more essential goods/services has reduced people's more discretionary spending.

I don't think people like to party like they once did. I've heard normal bars in many cities never fully recovered after covid.
Nightlife venues have changed a lot in the last 10-15 years. There's less of a scene for approaching new women in nightlife venues. Michael Sartain (Las Vegas area resident) has even claimed that approaching strangers is dead.

Nightlife venues are now more commonly used as a place to host app or social media DM arranged first dates than as a venue for approaching.

There are also other Vegas casino alternatives that didn't exist years ago that are quite popular. No need to go to Vegas for the same thing when it's an easy drive.
Many places have casinos nearby which can substitute for a trip to Las Vegas. Sports gambling also exists in places other than Nevada now.

you live in vegas I take it?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

People don't like visiting the States, including Vegas, because they are worried your "president" is going to use the ice and put them in jail. There are allot of industries, that rely on Tourism that are struggling because you either scare people away or piss off people so they'd think twice about visting that country.

As soon as a Democrat president that has a at least quarter of a brain take (yeah, the bar has lowered) steps in the White House, then I'm sure tourism in all sectors will start going up again.

This is a Canadian perspective, but I agree with it 100%. President Newsom will be making his first international trip in Feb 2029 to Canada in essence ask for forgiveness for the rotten treatment they had gotten.

They're in straits similar to movie theaters. Yeah, the products offered up could be niftier, nonetheless none of that'll matter, as long as "safteyism" maintains the hold over our culture that it does today

Believing that we can be "harmed" by hearing words or seeing events we find objectionable in some way = More folks retreating indoors, not socializing live. I'm surprised that Vegas has survived at all, in an era where we're hellbent on purging society of "The Male Gaze", "problematic comedy", and "Sexualization" of all sorts

I wonder if they will start allowing cathouses on the strip (because it is outlawed in Clark County, you have to go all the way to Pahrump, which used to be in the middle of nowhere, but now is a suburb).
