I don't think this will make much of a difference for Uber drivers in terms of their sex lives.

The majority of Uber drivers weren't getting laid as a result of driving for Uber. Most female passengers considered Uber drivers to be low status and unworthy of sexual attention.

Some male Uber drivers likely tried to seduce passengers. It wasn't effective for most of them. They didn't have the good looks to offset their low status as Uber drivers.

Women complained about Uber drivers attempting to seduce because the Uber drivers that tried it weren't good looking enough.

Lyft has had this same policy since 2023.

Ride share hookups happen far more than you think not just Uber but Lyft as well etc.

I know several guys who were uber drivers and they get tons of offers for sex and free BJ's, especially after bar closes. One of my buddies used to be a Uber driver in Tempe, Arizona and him and this stripper had a deal where she would pay him in BJ's

Another guy who was 5'2 Indian guy I know would get sex from chicks then ghost them

The reason you don't hear about these stories is cause it's taboo and also some guys don't risk it cause you can lose your job some guys do risk it. You never hear these stories because it's hush hush

I can imagine this happened for the guys who work Uber after the bars close and the women are drunk enough. I think this happens in a small percentage of cases when women are wasted from a night out at the bars.

yeah, ive not heard of it much at all where i live except ONE time but that one time sticks in my head because the girls was extremely hot. She was a crazy kinda messed up chick with issues BUT she was an absolute smoke show. 17 years old. I always had a big crush on her of course, but I wasn't her type, but I know she let some old smelly cab driver bang her once as she couldn't afford the cab after a night of drink and drugs etc and she had a fight with her friend and wanted to go home. that's funny. i knew a girl in high school who did the exact same thing, for the same reason. needed a ride home, didn't have any money. no idea if she was drunk or high but yeah, still slept with the cabbie, although i have no idea if he was some old porker or whatever he might've looked like.

the sexual barter economy doesn't get talked about enough. i heard rumours in my town that a local tattoo parlour was giving out tats to young girls in exchange for some action. i also know a girl who was getting hit on a lot by her mechanic and was basically given the signal that he'd fix her car for a hookup. she didn't do it, but dude was so confident and direct about it you just know he tried it on others and more than likely a few went for it, dude was old af so he'd probably done that routine more than a few times. of course, there's always dealers who get the rep for easy hookups for some free stuff.
