If you're a big enough player, the girls will come to you.
I went to high school with a bigtime player. Girls would physically fight each other over who got to be with him.

I think that's why I'm not fond of rejection. Most males want to be "that guy", they want women to desire them. I've seen a lot of PUA products that promise that girls will "chase" you. Guys want to be chased, like the top tier guys. Even if you don't care about having a harem, you want at least some, girls, or at least one girl, to feel that way about you. Rejection doesn't fall in with that.

Regarding the players though, when you see the girls competing over them, I always wonder if this is something that occurs naturally, or is it a situation that the player has manipulated into happening? I mean if guys are going around pump and dumping, some girls are probably going to get emotionally messed up over that.

Your guess is as good as mine (as far as whether girls competing over players happens naturally...or whether the player manipulates the scenario into happening)

And yeah, even though I don't necessarily want a harem, I'd at least want one woman to feel that way about me.

Hell, even with rejection, it's not necessarily the rejection itself that gets to me. What gets to me is: When I put it all on the line to make my move on a girl/woman I genuinely thought was into me, only to find out I was wrong about her interest level. That's the most crushing thing ever.

I'd rather get rejected by dozens of total strangers who've given me zero IOIs than get rejected by even one woman I genuinely thought was into me.

Yeah, our THOUGHTS and BELIEFS about external events/attachement to outcomes are what throw us for a loop, not the events themselves
